The unit was run down. I had some friends over for dinner and it just didn't present well. There was a piece of carpet missing, the size of my hand, about 5ft past the front door. It was immediately visible when anyone entered the unit. The cushions on the futon were both ripped, on both sides. Not small rips, but large foot-long rips. The dining chairs felt like they were ready to break. The cabinet door for the plates was cracked and I was scared it would break off completely at any moment. The quality of this unit was clearly a level or two below all the other units I've visited in the Tucker Mountain Lodge and Passage Point buildings in the village.
That said, the location was fantastic, the price was lower than the other units (presumably to makeup for the lack of maintenance), and overall I enjoyed my stay! It was a 1 minute walk to the American Eagle chair lift, Jack's bar (quick breakfast), and Ten Mile Tavern (dinner). The parking lot was convenient (perhaps a little tight but I was able to fit a full size pickup truck). It was really nice to be allowed to bring my pet in the unit, but I would have happily paid a large security deposit in exchange for the unit being maintained better.
