THE LIGHTHOUSE Is only steps away from the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. We believe the best vacation is one that takes you away from home, but has the same feeling as home. THE LIGHTHOUSE has all the amenities you could ask for! A feel at home beach house fully-equipped, beautifully decorated vacation home. Quartz counter-top with stone backsplash in this Galley Island style kitchen which offers plenty of space for cooking & entertaining along with a wet bar at end of island. The living room offers two(2) sets of comfortable, stylish, suede soft Microfiber sofa sleepers upgraded with 2 inch, Memory Foam Mattress Topper, Cooling Gel Aloe Infused. ( two (2) love-seats, cable, and wireless WI-FI/DSL connection! Entertaining is extraordinary in our house! Our house features three bedrooms: two are located on the main floor(each with Queen beds and cable TV ) with a full bathroom on main floor. The bottom level,( separate outside entry) is where the 3rd bedroom is located. A spacious decorated room with two (2) queen beds, bunk beds ( 2 single) TV, mini refrigerator, coffee pot and full bathroom (outside stairs are used to access upper main area of house to lower floor). Our fabulous Lighthouse has a trash compactor, dishwater, full size washer/dryer, pots, pans, dishes, grills, two covered patios, four swings, and a horse shoe pit! Our covered upstairs patio has pit style furniture with four chairs and table AND a great view of the ocean! Downstairs patio has four swings ,bbq grill, built in small stand up table Fabulous view of beach, the Gulf and a game of horseshoes! A perfect vacation home for family and/or friends. This house sleeps up to 12. Only footsteps away from the Gulf of Mexico with at great view any where you stand!

Lighthouse

Great place to stay easy walk to beach. House had everything we needed and it was nice and clean. Looks like they recently updated downstairs. We will definitely come back!

Great location, very poor cleanliness

Check in process was easy, great location. However house is pretty old and not cleaned well. Piles of dust on every ceiling fan, air vents covered in dust. There was a light fixture in the closet hanging loose with wiring exposed. Downstairs was completely separate from the main house and smelt very musty and the window AC is not powerful enough to cool to our liking. The shower in the lower level had large cracks and was very dirty. We had to clean it ourselves for our stay and killed 5 spiders within the first hour in that lower level room. Manager was very helpful and even reimbursed us some money for the troubles we had, and plans to do repairs. Overall very unhappy with how clean the property was. Not up to standard of other rentals I have stayed at from VRBO.

Great location, dirty house

When we first arrived, the upstairs front door was wide open and there were lots of flies. It was frightening because we have two young children and we didn't know if there were people inside. The house was dirty and it just didn't feel clean. It was grungy, dust bunnies under the couches, grimey shower, and the front porch furniture was broken and dangerous. The legs on the chairs were so dwindled, that I almost fell as I sat down and I'm not large so it was not a weight issue. The decorations were cute and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. Very short walk to the beach and the ocean. It was beautiful. The property would be so much better if better cleaning and repairs were made. The property owner was cordial and professional, however we didn't feel comfortable 😕. Lastly, one day into our stay a wind storm came and blew all the trash into the street and into the yard. This was trash from the previous renters. We had to touch nasty trash and clean it all up. The property owner should ensure that the trash is taken care and all bases are covered prior to any arrival.

We had such a great time! We love being so close to the beach. It was very quiet and spacious. The whole family had a great time. Was perfect for my family! 4 adults and 2 kids! The hostess communicated very well with us. We will book here again!

Fun on the beach

This is a fun house with a little yard a few steps from the beach. The kitchen has everything you need. Just bring extra paper towels and toilet paper. We ran out of both. The mattresses were a little worn in but manageable. Both of the AC's worked great when it got warm. We appreciated the space we were afforded by having a room on the ground level. I would rent again.

The Brown Family 2023 Beach Trip

The trip was a big success. The Lighthouse was perfect for our whole family of 10. The environment was cozy, decorated perfectly, supplied with everything that we needed. Plus, our host was very sweet and accommodating on keeping us posted and answering any questions that were asked. Everyone enjoyed the beach and the access to all the amenities were at our fingertips. It was a very special trip for the family and we all enjoyed it immensely. Thank you!!!

Great house, already re-booked!

House was great, with lots of room for eating and hanging out. There was a broken screen that flapped loudly in the wind on a stormy night. The downstairs bathroom had questionable flooring in the shower that was unsteady. That was disappointing. However, nice enough that one of our party has already rebooked for July.

Cute little beach house

This property location was perfect since we were visiting with family that also owns in this neighborhood. Beds were comfortable and my daughters loved having their "own space" downstairs, while we had our place upstairs. It was almost like a 2 for 1. We have already made arrangements to book again at the Lighthouse.

Not as clean, but great location

I rented this because it was next to another rental so my large family could stay together. The location was awesome, literally a short walk to an uncrowded beach. Perfect! The house itself wasn't as clean as I would've liked. After checking in for several hours and unpacking I noticed things like old pee on the side of the toilet (you know, those round things at the bottom), hair and dust on the bedside table, stains and crumbs and hair inside the sofa beds. Mostly the place just needs a good deep cleaning. There were not enough sheets and pillows for the sofa beds that were in the listing, so the first night we had to sleep on top of a blanket. The host was responsive, and sent more the next day. I wanted to ask her to send her cleaning person to take care of some of the things I had noticed, but my husband thought that would be weird since we already had unpacked all our stuff and he didn't want to be there while she was cleaning.

Bermuda beach 2022

We enjoyed our stay at The Lighthouse. Although my first preference is always a first row house this was a close second. Just a short walk to a pretty private beach area. View is somewhat obstructed by a house and telephone poles but we could still see enough of the water so it wasn’t a big issue.

Best beach house

This was a last minute booking and Janette called me right away with details! She communicated very well and made our experience 10/10. This house has amazing view that it was so nice to relax in the swings or upstairs patio with plenty of seatings … I would make my coffee and sit out and relax(it also has keurig and coffee maker for options just bring your own pods or grounded coffee). I cooked in our stay and kitchen was fully equipped even have 3 different grills (bring your own charcoal). Rooms are spacious and comfortable beds. Living room space is spacious and plenty of board games available to play. We had our own beach chairs and umbrella but the house has an outside chest full of beach stuff just in case you forget anything. Overall our stay was amazing and look forward to coming back soon. Thx

We bought this house for a quick get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Our four boys have experienced life at a beach though-out their years. Fishing, crabbing, skin-boarding, kayaking, building sand castles, throwing sand at each other, swinging , playing games, playing horseshoes, watching the stars, counting the stars, fish tacos, shrimp poboys, etc., etc., etc. We hope you experience all of that and more!

What makes this property unique

This is a great house for two families, la large family or those who have teenagers. Our bedroom/bathroom downstairs is quiet and removed from the upstairs house. This gives both privacy to a family members or those ...wanting their own space teenagers!
