Hidden Gem with Killer Views
Our family of five was looking for a place close to Ted Rhodes for a weekend lax tournament. The hotel block was for basic rooms, not for 5 people. Our vrbo was 1.3 miles from the fields, never took longer than 9 minutes to get there. While we were 14-20 minutes from Broadway, we didn’t even seek downtown nightlife because there are AMAZING restaurants and bars within a 2 mile radius. We were blown away by the cool, local spots!
The property overwhelmed us based on our expectations. So cute on the outside and then exceptionally clean once inside. The decor was so crisp and clean and really gave a local feel, not cheesey country style at all. Bedrooms were so well appointed, clean and comfy linens and pillows, fun decor, tv’s in both bedrooms, awesome lighting and ceiling fans all over.
Bathrooms did not disappoint. Master was a spa-like experience, and LOVED that they kept some small necessities “in case you forgot” in the drawers.
The upstairs living space was even more spacious than we expected. So much space for us, even let the boys have a friend sleepover and the balcony view is just ludicrous - the river, the Riverwalk, the parks and straight into downtown. The cityscape at night is so fun. Awesome furniture, appliances, and details.
And a private garage, awesome surprise, great for stinky equipment.
Best of all, the owner communication. Patty was super responsive to our questions, helpful and on the spot attentive!
