The Boatyard is a unique boutique condominium located in a turn of the century old boatyard building. Lovingly restored with only 6 units, this serene location is steps from the historic village of Kennebunkport. No car needed as you are within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach.

As you sit with your morning coffee out on the veranda and watch as the town awakens, the peacefulness of the area will captivate you. Bikers and joggers can be seen as they start their day. Enjoy a quite paddle with your canoe or kayak that you can launch right outside your door from our private dock. Your choice of golf courses is just minutes away.

Kennebunkport trip

First stay in Kennebunkport and this was a great place to stay! Everything is within walking distance which made the location prime. The place is decorated nicely and has anything you need for your stay. We sat on the outside deck for morning coffee and evening chats. Mornings in Paris was great for breakfast each morning. We had great conversations with the manager John each morning. Will definitely look to stay here again!

Great location, great apartment

We had a great time at this apartment. The kitchen is excellently stocked with pots, pans, silverware, drinking glasses, etc. Walking to downtown Kennebunkport is quick and easy. The view and breeze on the covered deck are wonderful. The twin beds were comfortable, and our 4 year old daughter slept very well in her bed. Everything was clean and well maintained. Highly recommend!

GREAT LOCATION AND WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS

Loved this cozy condo and the location cannot be beat. Sitting on the deck we enjoyed hearing live music while watching all the people buzzing around the shops and restaurants. Loved watching the water. Was amazed by the tide pool. This place was very clean and tidy which is appreciated. It was fully stocked with plenty of towels, etc. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us. Maine is absolutely beautiful, and the people are so kind!!! I got to check this off my bucket list but I want to come back. Such a beautiful state. Relaxing and refreshing! Whale watching was unreal, and I highly recommend visitors take in that activity.

Perfect Spot

The deck was our favorite spot for morning coffee, evening wine, or just watching the town! The location is great! Walking to all the downtown locations was an easy walk and so was walking to the beach if you wanted to! The beach parking pass was a great bonus! Everything was very clean and comfortable! Our host was so responsive to any inquiries I had. Great place to stay!!!

Wonderful KPT retreat

Great Rental!

Well appointed rental just steps to the heart of Kennebunkport shopping and restaurants. Excellent covered balcony overlooking the scenic tidal river and Kennebunkport. Heat and A/C. Kitchen has everything you need. 3rd year renting this unit. Excellent.

Our 2023 return to KPT

We have stayed at this location and this apartment on many occasions. It is perfectly located , very well equipped with a great view across the river to downtown KPT . Wonderful sunrises. The owner Sharon is very responsive and pleasant to deal with.

Weekend visit

We had a very nice stay in the condo. Our daughter and her boyfriend flew in from LA and met us and it wound up being a proposal 💍 weekend 😃 The kitchen was well stocked and we boiled lobster one night. We biked to Goochs beach and it was 1mile. Lots of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance tho. We loved the covered porch the best I think. The LR and MB were well AC’d. The smaller bedroom was a bit warmer so we used the fan in the unit for that room. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful Little Condo

The unit was fantastic. It had everything we needed for our visit. The kitchen was stocked with all the basics. There is an ice machine in the fridge too. We were able to walk to town, restaurants and the beach. Never had to drive anywhere. There is a covered porch off of the family room which was great to sit out - even I. The rain. We would recommend this unit and would stay again.

Great time in Kennebunk

Like many of the other reviews, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The place was immaculate and the layout was great for us. We grilled almost every night on the Weber Spirit grill which worked well for us. We walked the beaches in the morning, kayaked, and did the Intown Trolley tour without needing to drive as everything was walkable from the condo. The same is true for all of the restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etcetera. I highly recommend staying here.

The BEST location for a Kennebunk / Kennebunkport vacation

We’re a couple of single gals that wanted a no fuss, no planning, simple vacation and we found exactly what we were looking for with Sharon’s place in Kennebunk! The property is fantastic! We each had our own room and bathroom, with a large sitting area, kitchen and porch which we used daily (the views off the porch were stunning! I wish I could share pictures here, they look like paintings! ❤️). The kitchen is stocked with so many things it made cooking breakfast/brunch (because you won’t find in town, most places open around 11:30/12) as breeze. We walked everywhere (getting in WAY more steps than our average day at home 😆) but having a car just isn’t necessary as there are a lot of things to do and see right within the town, which is right out the front door and around the corner. Mornings in Paris is just around the corner, great coffee and pastries. Gooch beach is a quick 20 min walk down a beautiful street (passing a Monk sanctuary that we’re told has healed many people!). Plenty of boat tours; sailing tours that explain the history of the location, some of the famous people that vacation on the beach etc, lobster tours, whale watch etc. We took a pineapple Katch tour and it was great! we recommend Arundel Wharf for lunch or dinner, the location and food was FANTASTIC!. Nonantum hotel, (another short 20 min walk) has a pool open to the public with poolside food and drinks. We hit it just at the right time of the year, the weather was ideal, low 70’s, ocean breeze daily, and slightly overcast so no worries of a sunburn! We can’t recommend this place more and have already decided we will 100% be back.
