Enjoy the sprawling backyard with beautiful foothill views and plenty of space for your dog to run around while you cook out on the grill. The inside is cozy and features an open floor plan perfect for family meals, board game nights, or sprawling out on the living room floor for a movie. Expect to see plenty of wildlife including birds, small critters, deer, and bears! Excellent location for a staycation or an everyday adventure base camp. Plenty of parking in the driveway, marijuana is legal in Colorado and allowed on the property. Absolutely no cigarettes at any time. We do not have central AC, however, you will find an evaporative cooler and whole-house fan will keep the house cool on hot summer nights.

This Laporte property is just what we needed to escape the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Quiet neighborhood, great house and the best back yard! Our family and pup enjoyed our stay at Colleen’s home. Thank you!
Had another nice visit to Fort Collins area. We've stayed at this property 3 times now and have had a great stay each time. The location works well for doing things in town and in the mountains and the backyard is great for our dog.
We have stayed many times as it's a great home base to come back to when doing activities in the mountains and in Fort Collins. We travel with our dog so we definitely appreciate having a yard for her. We would stay again if traveling back to the area
This was our second time staying at this property. It is conveniently located to downtown Fort Collins and Horsetooth and has a nice backyard for the dog. Plan to stay again on our next visit to Colorado.
We stayed just 4 nights over new years and had a great time. We had our dog with us and the backyard was perfect for her. The location is great-- a short drive to horsetooth and a short drive or bike ride to Old Town Fort Collins. We plan on returning!
We came from Alaska to escape the usual September rain and found 30 days of sun, sun and more sun in the Lapore/Fort Collins area. The house is exactly as advertised, a great place to land with everything you need in an awesome location. There are parks, paths, hikes, activities, restaurants, all within minutes of this location. Colleen was always available to provide recommendations and information. We had the best time and the dog loved the neighborhood with its posse of roaming turkeys and deer. We will definitely return!
The house is located close to the foothills and also to downtown Fort Collins, which makes it an excellent home base on your travels. There is also a large backyard with a view of the foothills. It does the trick if you want a place to sleep and relax in between Colorado adventures!
If you are looking for a getaway that offers all the charm of home and is conveniently located in a small town atmosphere, this is the place for you! We enjoyed the 2 bedroom home with a washer and dryer, garage, and fenced back yard with a fire pit. You could tell a lot of work was recently put into renovating and updating this rental. The best part was how friendly and responsive the owner (Colleen) was. Would definitely recommend and plan on coming back soon🤓
I stayed here with my son for 5 nights for a mix of remote work and fun. Overall this was a nice place to stay, no major complaints, particularly for the cost related to it's location! It seems a little bit of a DIY work in progress but it is clean, the bed was comfy, and there was plenty of space. The host was very responsive and friendly. We didn't have a dog with us but it would be a great setup if we had. Location was quiet, easy to get to and a quick drive into Ft. Collins. A couple of things to note if they are important to you... the AC isn't central air (I was glad it was cool outside), there is no microwave (!), and the yard is somewhat untidy. The couch was "well-loved" and some additional furnishings would have been nice in the living space. But again, we had a pleasant stay here and for what we paid feel it was a good value for this area. If I was coming back to the area I would consider staying here again.
