Welcome to our charming basement retreat. Ideal for couples or solo travelers seeking a peaceful haven, our tastefully furnished basement unit promises a delightful stay.
The space
You will have your own driveway, private entrance, and separate space from the upstairs unit.
Guest access
When you park on the driveway, the entrance is on the left, where you can walk through the deck or the lawn to access the home.

Note: I do have little kids at home. Sometimes, they are noisy when they return from school (from 4 pm), and their noise does get into the basement unit, where you will stay. If a quiet, noise-free environment is very crucial for your stay, consider this note before booking. Thank you.

Clean, cozy retreat

Our stay was perfect. The space provided everything we needed for a pleasant weekend. The property owner was very thorough on the check in process & was quick to respond to any needs. Highly recommend!!

St. Charles

Very clean and open basement area of a family’s home. We just basically needed a place to sleep and shower for the weekend while celebrating our Christmas time together since I’m a truck driver and won’t be back in the area til after Christmas. Great communication with the host, easy checkin/out.

Lovely place

We enjoyed our stay at this home. The manager was very responsive to our questions and provided goodies to welcome us, and make our stay even better. We would definately stay herenagain. Very happy.

Cozy private room

Traveled to watch a football game and needed a place to stay for 2 nights. We wanted something nicer and more private than a hotel room and this place did not disappoint. The host is amazing and welcomed us in and took care of anything we needed. Actually saved money staying here, instead of a hotel. Really nice neighborhood, just a great overall experience.

Great location but…

We stayed at this VRBO in Missouri for 12 days, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The biggest issue was the bed – it was extremely uncomfortable, which resulted in back pain and sleepless nights for us. Considering the high price we paid, we expected much better. Although the owner was polite and attempted to help, it did not resolve the discomfort we endured.Another significant concern was the lack of a proper walkway to the basement access door in the backyard. On one side, there was a steep, narrow path, and the other side was just grass, making it quite unsafe for us, especially as elderly guests. This made accessing the property difficult and hazardous.Overall, while the owner's politeness was appreciated, the combination of an uncomfortable bed and unsafe access greatly detracted from our stay. We hope the owner addresses these issues for future guests.
