The cabin is surrounded by tranquil woods backing up to spectacular Mt. Hood Forest. Step back in time at our peaceful & comfortable vintage 1BR, 1BA +loft cabin with large deck and seasonal stream. Enjoy access to miles of trails & the Sandy River right from the backyard. The cabin is ideally located near all that Mt. Hood has to offer. Just a 20 min drive to Govt. Camp, Timberline Lodge & Hood Meadows. WiFi, TV w/ streaming channels, Nintendo Classic mini, wood stove,fire pit, washer & dryer.
The space
Truly relaxing and serene, the cabin is in a terrific location. Large open concept living area with comfortable seating for 6. Mostly constructed of wood inside, enjoy the skylights and beautiful vaulted ceiling. Dinning table seats 6 plus 3 barstools for additional seating at the kitchen counter. Bathroom has large walk-in shower with rain head shower head. Steps to miles of well maintained hiking trails. A quick drive to bars, restaurants and grocery stores. World class skiing, snowboarding and winter sports including Timberline Lodge, Hood Meadows and Ski Bowl located only 20 minutes away by car.
Main Level: great room, Dinning kitchen, living room, TV, wood stove. Bathroom with walk in shower, bedroom with queen fold out couch and twin over twin bunk beds. Upstairs: loft bedroom with queen bed and twin fold out couch.
Outside space: Deck with BBQ, chairs, hammock, fire pit and seasonal stream.

Enjoy full access to the cabin, outside spaces and miles of well maintained trails.
Other things to note
The Mt. Hood Hideout cabin is vintage and a somewhat rustic experience. It’s a great place to unwind and disconnect. Cell service is limited, however a landline phone and free high speed WiFi is available for use.
The cabin has electric heaters in the living area and a portable heater in the loft. It is ideal for those that love a warm, crackling fire in the wood stove to complete their mountain experience.
