While the picture was accurate, the title Ocean View led us to believe we would see the view sitting on the balcony. We had to stand on one end to see the view.

Spring Break Vacation

Had a wonderful time staying at this location. The condo was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Process of check in and check out went smoothly. Only advice would to upgrade living room furniture, the couch is not very comfortable, and also provide coffee filters as a staple. The workout / gym was very dated. I hadn’t used in the past but the weather was rainy a few days so I decided to check it out. Would be nice if the resort updated that area as well. Great location for all other activities!

Beautiful property but missing a bed

I wish I could give a top review. We have come to Hibiscus for 30+ years and it's still a wonderful place with its proximity to the beach, pools, hot tubs, and landscaping. Very family friendly! The condo interior is beautiful and well equipped - a few minor glitches. The serious problem was that the second bedroom was pictured with a full bed and a bunk bed, but the top bunk was nowhere to be found. The rental company offered a cot, but there was no space for it. We received a symbolic small credit instead. We had specifically looked for a rental with a bunk bed as my son and his wife have two kids, and to have it missing in action meant that they had to make do in their sleeping arrangements all week. Fine for a camping trip, but not for an expensive condo. Very disappointed, but in the future will not trust VRBO pictures with respect to crucial requirement.

Overall stay was good, condo is on the second floor and there was another condo above, those occupants that week were heavy footed so you could hear all movements above. Also, the listing should be updated with current indoor photos of the condo.

Great Vacation Spot

We had the best time! The property has three pools and is walking distance to the beach. The rental is very clean and has all the needs for cooking if desired. The kids loved the bunk beds! Overall the perfect property!

Great St. Augustine Visit

The unit we rented was very comfortable. There was a master bedroom/bathroom and a second bedroom with a bed and bunkbeds. There was also a second bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen. The kitchen had a breakfast bar which was perfect for my husband to sit at and work, while I worked at the dining table. There is a nice balcony overlooking one of the pools. There is also a washer and dryer, which I used the day before we left. It was great. My husband said the pools were at the perfect temperature. We would definitely go again. It was very quiet around the area.

Perfect teacher respite for spring break!

I would stay here again. For the price, the location to the beautiful beach is hard to beat. The place is nicely appointed and clean. Some amenities that would make the stay better would be two full rolls of toilet paper (we had 1.5), two bars of soap for each bathroom so you don't have to keep taking the same little one back and forth from sink to shower), beach towels, chairs, and a hair dryer. So bring your own beach towels, and pony up to buy the other if needed. It's just hard if you've traveled by plane to bring all of the extra. We were greeted with a plumbing issue before we even checked in, so we weren't able to use one of the bathrooms for 18 hours. The office notified me ahead of my check-in to advise of the situation.....maybe we'll get a small credit? That all aside, it was a great stay! This unit is close to two pools, and it's just a five minute walk to the beautiful, deep, soft, white-sand beach. The area of beach is very nice. Keep in mind, that vehicles do drive on the beach, but in this particular area there isn't as much traffic and there isn't a public access entry close by.

Fun Time with Grands!

Beautiful condo. Bunk beds were a hit with the grands. Enjoyed the walk to the beach. Beach was almost perfect, just “busier” than we thought it would be.

Nice property

Overall,we had a lovely stay at the Hibiscus. We did have some issues with the the dishwasher but believe it might have something to do with the water pressure in the unit. The showers and sinks at times barely trickled out. We finally figure out that the toilet in the hallway was running. When it was running there would be no water pressure. This definately needs to be addressed. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Fabulous condo in a great location!

We were thrilled with the condo. It was beautifully decorated and updated. We loved it and felt right at home here. The view from our balcony was lovely. We were able to see the ocean and the beautiful pool and palm trees.

MEMORIAL DAY TRIP TO ST. AUGUSTINE

We had 2 units in HIbiscus and had a fantastic time! Location is great, close to Old Town, right on the beach and great restaurants closeby. I will go back again to Hibiscus from now on :-)

Great location

The condo is in spectacular location!!! The beach is amazing and is just a short 3 minute walk. The complex is nice and well maintained. We had an overall great experience. The condo is nice and generally well kept, could use some professional cleaning. The dishes didn't seem clean so we had to wash them before use. Not a big deal though. However, on our last night we returned home to find some very friendly giant palmetto bugs crawling around the kitchen. The dissappeared into the kitchen cabinet before we could catch them. Not cool. Made me double wash the dishes before use after seeing that. Also, directions should be proofread. The condo # was misspelled as 210-D on the directions we picked up with the keys so was a bit confusing. Also, no instructions on what to do with the keys at the end were provided. Tried to call the emergency number about 10 times (as well as left a message which no one returned by the way) to find out where to leave the keys when we left. Finally had to call the nice agent we rented the place from to help out. I guess emergency line took a day off for Labor Day as well :) Overall, great vacation spot though. Send in the exterminator and we might return again :)
