About this property

This waterfront home is 2200 square ft with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths. There are 4 king beds, 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds. This house sleeps 10 comfortably and is a great layout for larger groups. The kitchen has a great layout as well with plenty of room for a buffet style family dinner. Featuring granite countertops and 2 dish washers to make cleanup a breeze. Also if you want to sit down for a family dinner there is dining space for 10 people. Other great amenities include Central air, back patio with a charcoal grill and a large fenced back yard for your dog as well.
The location can’t get much better being only 3 miles from Traverse city and a half a mile from Traverse city Yacht club and Marina. We are also only 20 min from Sleeping Bear dunes and Empire beach. Other activities in the area include golfing, boating, wine tasting, shopping, 2 casinos, kayaking, biking etc...

Birthday getaway

This was a great home base for a weekend of birthday wine and cider tasting. The house was cozy warm despite the cool fall weather. Beds were comfy, and we appreciated everything being on one level. We would definitely book again. book again. boosummer

Up North escape

Great house and location. Hosts were great to work with. We enjoyed our stay and made beautiful memories. Pup friendly property and our dog enjoyed his stay too.

Not what we expected from Vrbo. Misleading description of property and area. Very busy state route to cross for beach access. Property not clean. We had to clean it ourselves. Electric was substandard. Many overused or non working outlets. Clogged tub in master bathroom. Loose toilet in other bathroom. Beds squeaky. No light under microwave made for dark cooking. Poorly rated

Traverse City Dream Stay

Our stay was as good as we could have imagined since the 5 bedrooms and 4 full baths were the perfect accommodation for 4 couples. The fenced in yard was ideal for the dog and the lake across the street made the location even that much more fun. We had a fire by on the beach or in the backyard every evening. We hope to stay there again since we travel to TC more than once per year.

Sibling vacation

Overall a good property. Able to accommodate us all. House has a bit of an odd layout and is somewhat rustic but it still worked for all 8 of us. Even though it’s a busy road the view of the lake was just beautiful.

Perfect for a weekend group getaway.

Stayed with a group of friends for a long Memorial Day weekend. Property was very centrally located, clean and spacious enough for everyone to have their own bedroom and bathroom areas which we all enjoyed. Host was very cordial and accommodating as well. This was my first time using VRBO but this stay has definitely sold me on how well it functions for larger groups. I would definitely recommend this property and be willing to stay again.

Wine Tasting - Friends Weekend

We were a group of ten in TC for wine tasting. The house was clean, conveniently located and plenty of room for the ten of us. Beautiful view of the lake with lake access and a fire pit right across the street. The owners were very nice and easy to communicate with.

Sister Trip

My sister's and I stayed here for our annual trip. The location was wonderful! It's on a busy street but we never heard traffic inside the cabin and in the back, on the deck it was also nice and quiet. You're close to Sutton's Bay as well as Traverse City! The host was readily available for any questions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!!

Perfect Family Weekend

This was the best place for my grown kids, their others and a dog to gather for Thanksgiving weekend. We watched football, played games, cooked meals. We took an awesome wine tour as well. Everyone had a cozy bed, plenty of seating for meals, space in the kitchen for multiple cooks. Close to the Leelanau trail for a great hike/run. The dog run worked well for my daughter's dog. The owner was so easy and kind to work with. I would definitely stay here again.

Friends wine trip - 9 adults

Plenty of room for 4 couples and one additional adult. Worked perfect for pick up for our wine tour but also a great spot to hangout when the tour was done. We had space in the house, enjoyed the beach across the street, and also had a fire in the back yard. We would definitely stay here again!

FANTASTIC ACCOMODATIONS FOR WEDDING

This house had everything we needed and more! Super clean with a nice yard for dogs. It's locations was close to my son's wedding venue, the biking/hiking trail, shopping, lots of restaurants and we were able to use the marina only 1/2 mile away to go boating a few times. The weather wasn't the best but we utilized the beach for a bonfire. Thank you for a great stay! It was perfect!

AUDRA AND JIMMY'S WEDDING 7-21-2023

My extended family and I greatly enjoyed spending time at this beautiful home with Lk Michigan views and beach with firepit. As my family gathered from Tenn, Mass, Connecticut, Michigan. We had plenty of space for the four families to spend together. Friends of Bride and Groom stopped over to enjoy a fire on the beach and s'mores at the firepit in backyard!

Perfect Accommodation for Daughter’s Wedding Weekend

This house was the perfect size for family who came to town for my daughter’s wedding in Traverse City. She even baked her wedding cake in the kitchen! We very much appreciated the location (close to shopping for last minute needs) and would definitely recommend this home.
