My ideal guests are couples or solo travelers with excellent reviews. This is Not a guesthouse, there are No owners living upstairs or downstairs and you don't have to enter through an alley. This is a historic, quirky house with a throwback feel. This cozy and private place is 124 years old; it's on a wide and quiet street lined with trees. It's in a great location: 4 min. from downtown, 3 min. from Old Colorado City, and 6 min. from Manitou. It's where you want to be to visit the main attractions in Colorado Springs.
There's a fan and a window AC in the bedroom; a window AC in the living room, a fan in the dining room, a ceiling fan in the kitchen, and a mini fan in the bathroom. There's over-the-air TV (antenna), Netflix, WiFi, table games, and VHS tapes to watch, and a Wii with games, among some other things.
The kitchen has everything that you need to make yourself at home, including a gas stove. There's a full size washer and dryer and laundry detergent.
Dogs are allowed and they love the fenced in backyard. Humans love it as well, especially when the weather is nice. There's a hammock, a hanging chair, a fountain, and flowers.
You can bring a maximum of 2 dogs. When you book this house, enter the number of adults (1 or 2) and check the box that says "I am traveling with pets." Vrbo will add a fee of $40 for 1 or 2 dogs for the whole stay.
This Little House was built in 1899 and it is considered a miner's house. It's in Old Colorado City, a historic and quiet neighborhood with a lot of character.
The neighborhood is very desirable because of its charm and prime location.
Fun fact: a house in this neighborhood was chosen for the 2017 movie "Our souls at night" with Jane Fonda and Robert Redford. The house is three blocks away from here on 12th and Pikes Peak (a green house in the corner).
