The Cabin:
The main level of the cabin is very spacious with original wood paneled walls and exposed beams. There is a convenient mudroom when you walk in. As you walk through, you will find yourself in the living and dining area. There is plenty of couch seating around the fireplace and a large picture window next to the dining table. There is a convenient first floor bedroom off the living area. In addition to the living room, there is another seating area with a fireplace and plenty of sunlight. There is a full size kitchen with a small breakfast table. The full size bathroom can also be found on this floor.
Upstairs, you will find the primary bedroom with sunlights overhead. The 3rd bedroom is upstairs as well and has its own staircase down to the kitchen. The middle room upstairs doubles as a reading/work area and a 4th bedroom when necessary as the couch pulls out to a full size bed.
Outdoor space: Right out the back door you will find a large outdoor dining area, a BBQ grill, hot tub, firepit, and outdoor games. The garage is fitted as a basic gym for guests to keep up their routines and let loose. To the side of the garage you will find a path that leads down to the stream. At the stream, you will find our custom sauna, an additional fire pit and a relaxing hammock. This area is particularly special, and just sitting out there in nature is an experience on its own.
The cabin is approx. 10 minutes from the Otisville Train Station, which is about 2 hours from Penn Station.
The ceiling height of the main floor is about 7 feet. There are two door frames on the main level that are quite low (about 6').
The freezer is a chest which is located in the unfinished basement and accessible from the kitchen.
The stone fireplace in the yellow room is unusable and should not be lit.
One of the bedrooms has a staircase that leads down to the kitchen. There is no door to those stairs.
The Hot tub is available year round.
Clean linens are provided for each guest and beds are made like in the pictures but we do not provide flat sheets.
We do not guarantee that there is cooking oil, pam, butter, aluminum foil or baking sheets.
