We loved the accommodations for the two of us, this place was very clean and I absolutely loved the courtyard for morning coffee and cocktail hour before dinner. The only thing that was a disadvantage for us was, it was a bit of a walk to bay st. If we were a bit younger then the 12 blocks would have been no problem, but all in all we really enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed staying at The Wren. Our hosts made us feel welcome and the week flew by. I would recommend this property. Close to Bay St. You could walk on a nice day. Plenty of parking. The Wren was very cosy.
This is a hidden gem in a noisy world! We were looking for a quiet weekend getaway after a hectic appointment-filled week. It's tucked away near the main house off the beaten path of the noisy downtown area. The cottage is as lovely as the pictures. Emily treated us like family recommending great restaurants for us to try and assisting in getting the tv working. At check out she was there to help my husband who uses a walker. We will certainly plan to stay there again.
I stayed at The Wren Guesthouse for almost three weeks on business. My husband joined me for part of the time. What a relaxing, perfect stay! The hosts were very communicative and sent complete information regarding check-in (which was a breeze) and parking. I had wanted a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, and a quiet location. Nothing was lacking! Comfortable furniture including the bed, and a nice quiet neighborhood. So thoughtfully designed with abundant closet and storage space. The owners live next door and were most respectful of privacy. And it was comforting knowing they were there while I was staying alone. This adorable cottage quickly became my "home away from home". And a most convenient location with an easy walk to the downtown waterfront with shops and restaurants. I can't wait to stay again!
The first impression was not good. There are two falling in houses across the street. However, when we met our host we started feeling much better. Then when we went into the house things started looking much brighter
We now feel that this little house is probably the most fun and comfortable VRBO we have ever stayed in. What this house shows is never give in to first impressions, give things a chance and you might find, as we did, something really special.
