Palmetto Dunes 103 is an intimate three story condo complex located in the Crescent Beach section of North Myrtle Beach. This spacious oceanfront condo offers three bedrooms and two and one half bathrooms. This condo is located on the first floor of a raised beach building, so you will have one set of stairs to reach the condo. This also gives you better views of the beach!

This North Myrtle Beach condo offers spectacular views from the private balcony. The master bedroom has a Queen size bed, private restroom, and a door to the oceanfront balcony. The second guest room features a TV for late night viewing and a Queen size bed. There is a hallway, full size restroom next to the bedroom. The third bedroom is bright and welcoming with beach views form the window, two twin beds and a connecting half restroom.

The comfortable living room offers access to the oceanfront balcony, TV, DVD and Wireless Internet.! The living room also features a sleeper sofa, perfect for extra sleeping arrangements. Palmetto Dunes also has a full size kitchen perfect for whipping up breakfast before you head downstairs to the beach.

Guests of Palm Dunes will love the sparkling outdoor swimming pool and sun deck! After you enjoy the beach or the community pool, come inside and put your beach towels right into the washer & dryer.

Guest will receive 2 parking passes.
Palmetto Dunes does not have any overflow parking.
Our property is completely non smoking.
No pets allowed.
We rent to families and adults over the age of 25 only.
No motorcycles or trailers allowed
If you plan to use the sleeper sofa you will need to bring sheets, towels, pillows, and blankets.

Although homes are often equipped with some non-perishable food items, such as sugar, coffee, and spices, we cannot guarantee they will be there. Guests are supplied with a starter set of paper products. Each rental will have 1 roll of toilet tissue per bathroom and 1 paper towel roll in the kitchen. Please come prepared with your own soaps or other needed toiletries such as dish detergent or laundry detergent. Please bring any blankets or towels you plan on using outside (pool or beach).
Guests should bring their own toiletries, we supply a starter set of toiletries. Per the linen package that is already included, we will provide 1 set of towels per guest and sheets for each bed. Most properties have a washer/dryer or a coin operated facility. Please bring any blankets or towels you plan on using outside (pool or beach).

Place is pretty nasty but a great location

We had nothing but issues at this place. It was dirty, dishwasher didn’t work, they sent pest control people to put up mouse traps while we were there. They didn’t call to say there were coming to look at the dishwasher and came in without our knowledge before. Other than the beautiful beach view, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Could have been better/Could have been worse

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival and initial inspection of the room, the room smelled like mildew. It was coming from the master bedroom which had a major leak from some where (We thought the water heater but it wasn't) and the carpet was soaked. We requested someone come look at it which they did and said that at some point during our stay they would have to change it. I requested they at least attempt to wet vac it and maybe bring us a dehumidifier which they did not. On Thursday maintenance showed up at 9 am with no warning to change the water heater. Turns out that wasn't the problem and I don't really know where it was coming from and didn't really care at that point. But still nothing was done about the carpet. All of the people that came into the room were very nice. The owner never once contacted us about the problem or any resolutions. Also, the parking here SUCKS!! We had two vehicles, a sedan and a 4 door truck. In order to park we had to drop off the people in the sedan and park the truck at the rental agency lot and then go back and pick them up. It was a pain. But still, yet the condo was great. Big enough for our crew of 7. Great view. Loved having the laundry right in the room. Very clean! I would still recommend as long as the water situation is fixed and maybe not during peak season when parking might be better

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I actually think i should get money back on this. From the day we got there, a leak in closet coming from the 3rd floor. i guess they thought they fixed it but something else was leaking all week long. I slept in a mildewed bedroom with constant dripping and the carpet was soaked into the bedroom from the closet. I spoke to management several times. The dryer wasn't working properly from day one. I got there saturday, they didn't fix the dryer issue until Friday, the day before we left. Management was extremely nice and brought us enough towels for the week. However, the issues were never fixed.

We had major issues with the maintenance. When we arrived we noticed no towels or washcloths, but we had a few of our own so we decided to wait until morning. One bathroom had only a small amount of toilet paper, no trash bags or dishwasher soap. When we all went to go to bed we noticed all the beds had the bedspreads tucked but no sheets or pillowcases on ANY of the 4 beds! There was a 24 hour line so we called that and were told no one would be able to get us any. We slept on the few blankets we'd brought ourselves. Also noticed the memory foam toppers aren't inside the bedbug cover but instead sit on top of it. Next morning we went to make coffee and the coffee maker basket was FULL of mold - the filter and coffee had never been dumped from when the previous guests had been there. After coffee failure I called the office when they opened to ask for sheets, towels, pillowcases, wash cloths, trash bags etc. I also explained the coffee maker. The person I spoke to was extremely apologetic and said maintenance would be sent but unsure when. This was 9:30am. At noon I left a voicemail asking if I could just come get it all. No response. Ran by the office around 2, no one there, and when I called I got voicemail again. Got back to the condo, no one had dropped by. I called expedia to see if they could reach someone. Was on hold when someone showed at 2:45. Electronic door lock doesn't always lock. Parking lot terrible. The view is fantastic. AC is cold. Plenty of utensils.

Great customer service, property not so good

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Southern Coast Vacations contacts were very customer friendly and helpful. We were informed a couple weeks before the trip that the property swimming pool would be closing before our visit. Having a pool is one of the reasons we selected the property so SCV provided a refund of a portion of the rental cost. When we arrived the key provided would not fit the lock to the unit. Returned to the SCV office to get a master key and were also given a code for an electronic lock that recently been installed. Neither one of those worked so I called them back. At that time they called maintenance who was able to unlock the door remotely and reset the code to one we could use. Due to the additional 90 minute wait to get into the condo SCV once again provided a small refund as compensation for the delay. The unit itself, Palm Dunes #103 is an older unit that has not been maintained very well and has older furniture and appliances. The dishwasher didn't even wash all of the detergent out, much less clean the dishes. There were large dust bunnies visible on the curtains in one of the bedrooms. Will not rent this unit again but will probably use SCV.

Great view!

It's an older property, but has all of the necessary amenities. The view of the ocean is awesome - we really enjoyed sitting and eating on the porch. We would stay here again.

Very nice location,easy beach access.

Very nice location that allowed easy access to beach and all the shopping areas. Parking a little tight, but over all a nice clean property. If your looking for a place to get to the beach from in a hurry, you can't get closer. Could use sum up-dating to condo other wise we where happy with it

Good value 'social isolation' right on the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The building has only a few condos and this unit is on the lowest level with direct stair access. No crowded lobbies or elevators. It's an older condo but it appeared as advertised ad everything worked. Sliding door to patio and appliances were new. The building has a shower and foot wash at ground level and is adjacent to a beach access path. For the location and three bedrooms it was a good value for the price.

Overall a nice place to stay!!

Overall we had a wonderful stay! There were a few details that need to be addressed like the sliding glass door handle was about to come off because you couldn't Slide the door very well. I think the track over time has just gotten dirty from the sea salt air. The ceiling in the hallway bathroom needs to be sanded down and repainted it's peeling and the mattresses weren't that great. Overall though the place in general was nice there was six of us there Labor Day weekend and we really enjoyed our stay. The location was fantastic and the Beach was not crowded at all which was wonderful! We actually got to enjoy it! The kitchen was completely stocked with anything that you needed as far as utensils and dishes, there was even two coffee pots which came in very handy because between four adults that are heavy coffee drinkers we ran both pots every morning. This was our first time on a family trip together in a while and I just thank y'all for making it a great one! We will be back! The staff that we dealt with where are super nice and offered to help in any way. Thanks for such a great weekend we definitely needed it!

Great location, ancient furniture

The location is great. There are very few huge condominiums next to this building, therefore, the beach was not as crowded as it was in many other places. The condo is right on the beach, so it's great too. When we arrived, the condo was fairly clean (I don't count some hair in bathroom and minor stuff like this). The balcony was not cleaned at all. The French doors were totally dirty, the floor and the table on the balcony were dirty as well. The other problem was the doors to the balcony. Both of them. The doors from the bedroom was so swelled up, it was very hard to open and close (tiny round handle is a joke in this situation). The French door to the living room is completely rusted and was barely moving on the rails. In addition to that, the handle was half unscrewed and was just hanging there. The handle on the the same door from the balcony side is virtually nonexistent. If you have kids, forget about it, they will never be able to open the doors to/from the balcony. Even adults had really hard time. And then the beds... Oh. My. God. The pull out sofa was probably fine sometime in the last century. Now the mattress on is is just a bunch of hard springs covered with thin fabric. To use this thing is impossible. The queen bed in the balcony room is tolerable. The other queen bad has to go to garbage. It's broken. Headboard is off, the bed is creaky and falling apart, and the mattress is so old that even the springs gave up. You drop into this bed like into a hammock. I already read somebody else's complain about that, and the manager's response. Dear management, if you top a completely worn ancient mattress with a cheap 2-inch memory foam, it will NOT magically transform into a luxury bedding. Sorry. The fitting sheets also were not fitting those queen beds. When we tried to do some light cleaning and wanted to use a vacuum, the vacuum didn't work. The filter was clean, but the vacuum still didn't suck at all. All the above was not so terribly bad for us (except the terrible bed, but I doubt that the management would replace it immediately), so we didn't contact anybody and just tried to cope. We were spending most of our stay on the beach, we are still young, so we we able to do it. There were 5 of us, so we were able to regroup, but if your party is 6-7 people, you have to know that the sofa is absolutely useless, and one of the queen beds is hard to have rest on as well. Despite all the above, we still had good time

I would not recommend this property.

The location of the property is great. Close to the beach about 25 min drive to down town. Property was not clean. Carpets are dirty. We did not feel comfortable taking our shoes off. Dinning table was sticky, dirty windows. I would not recommend this place.
