About this property

Waipani 17D is a 2 bedroom 2 bath walk to the beach condo located in the Crescent Beach section of North Myrtle Beach. The condo offers a fully equipped kitchen, washer dryer, and a beautiful view of the sparkling outdoor swimming pool! The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a TV. The guest bedroom has 2 twin size beds. The condo is located just across the boulevard from the beach! Waipani 17D features a balcony that overlooks the outdoor swimming pool.

Waipani 17D is on the 3rd floor of the building and there is not an elevator. The condo is within walking distance to not only the beach but also the Main Street area of North Myrtle Beach which is home to several local restaurants, bars, boutiques, and beach stores. Have a slice of pizza at Georgio's or have a happy hour drink at The International Cafe, all located on Main Street. There are two public beach accesses for guests to use. The 6th Avenue beach access has new public restrooms, water fountains, outdoor shower to rinse off with and sinks.

Waipani 17 D2 is a non-smoking property which does not allow pets. Smoking is not permitted on the balcony. Waipani has parking for 2 vehicles. This unit does not have internet.
Please note that this unit has 1 assigned parking spot, and the other unlabeled spots are first come first serve.

One assigned parking spot. Additional paring spot is first come first serve.
Two vehicles allowed. You are allowed to have rented golf carts that must be parked in the assigned parking spot for the unit.

Nice Location

The location of the property was wonderful. Right across the street from beach with public beach access., short walk to Main St for food and bars. This condo complex has a wonderful pool. Maneurving through the complex is TIGHT! There was construction going on with windows and siding which only added to the issues. Really didn’t like walking up 3 flights of stairs so much in coming and going on vacation. The condo was pretty much what it appeared in the photos. The patio furniture is old, rusty and needs to be replaced. Doors didn’t close properly and there is a terrible noise from the main bath every time you use water..flush the toilet or shower. I thought it could be better for the cost.

GREAT CONDO in a GREAT LOCATION!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a great proerty in the AWESOME North Myrtle Beach community. VERY easy to find and literally STEPS across Ocean Blvd from the beach. Has a SUPER nice pool. Our unit was a 3rd floor unit which was a little hard on this old, fat guy bbut nothing we couldn't handle. The parking spots are assigned to the unit and are convenient but pretty TIGHT for anything but a small car or suv. Our spot would have been next to impossible with my 4 door long bed Ram pickup. The unit was nicely furnished and quite comfortable. I enjoyed the screened in porch too.

Condo not up to par!!!!

We called about the washer and dryer the very 1st morning we woke up. Office reached out to owners with no return phone call. Then microwave blew up. Then not even two days later the stove as well. We rented a condo to be able to cook. And we have a 5 year old and many of her favorite food are made in microwave. So needless to say we paid way more money for food not being able to eat from the condo. And to spend 2400$ on a condo that didn't have the things we needed.

Never stayed in this property. Expedia uses outside sources such as other property management companies to book vacation stays. The property owner did not communicate with property management when they let someone else stay in our booked condo. Therefore the condo was double-booked. And the property management company was forced to find us another comparable place to stay.

bugs ruin vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: we have stayed in this unit the past 5 years with no problem. We did see dead bugs one year but were told the HOA had just sprayed and we shouldn't see anymore and we didn't. This year, every night of our vacation, we were killing big and little bugs in the unit. We called and were told this was the week for HOA to have units sprayed for bugs and the next day they would be there. They came and sprayed and we still were killing bugs the remainder of our stay (this was a 7 day stay) no compensation was offered from owner for this inconvenience. We will be renting elsewhere next year.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My stay was to help recover from the passing of your spouse. The condo is clean, safe and convenient, though the welcome experience courtesy would be greatly improved with a start up kit (eg, soap, trash bags, an extra light bulb, etc.) I spoke w/Eve to reserve the space, who was generally evasive, temperamental and rude with comments like "owner usually doesn't rent & the space definitely wouldn't be available longer if at all next year." There was no one to accept emergency calls the evening I arrived. The bathroom flush/tanks in both drained intermittently, filling only after shaking the handles. The master bathroom tub water was tepid the entire time, the left shower door wouldn't open, and the shower nozzle was so tight it needed muscle to pull it out for water to trickle. Only bath so not possible to take a bath. Point was peeling on the front/entry door; the table on the balcony rusted the chair pillows soiled. No extension cord to allow TV (dead batters in remotes)and lamp to operate simultaneously in guest room. No Wi-Fi Spectrum service recommended for renters was slow and disorganized.

Fun and safe

Ease to cross the street to access the beach and shower off station as we returned. Flooring, all TVs, and living room furniture have been updated since pictures were taken.

HOA needs new president!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was nice, but few things were failed to be prepared for a wonderful experience. TV's for bedrooms were not hooked up and in laundry room, DVD player was also not hooked up, no hot water in spare bathroom shower. Pool was closed early 2 nights and 3/4 a day on Friday. Also HOA President was a security officer all week with no people skills and took forcing the rules to the extreme. Before I ever reschedule this location I would need his schedule to avoid dealing with such an individual again.

Nrver again at WAIPANI 17D

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: this rental unit was terrible. I was very disappointed with the unit. I don't do bugs and I certainly don't do rottens!!! I rented with southern coAst again after my 1st experience bc of the great exp that I had. I must say that as soon as I brought this to mang attention they promptly took care of the prob by moving us to another property that was equivalent to what I'd exp with them before. Thumbs up for mang!!!!!! The rest of this review is strictly regarding this location only. The other I would rate "very satisfied" in all areas.
