First Time visiting Camano Islands

The cabin's location was great for exploring on our first visit to Camano Island. We enjoyed the feeling of being in the woods and the trail from the property through Camano State Park down to water's edge. The cabin was very comfortable & well appointed with lovely decor; we appreciated the clever artistic elements. We had everything we needed for cooking a few meals. We truly relaxed: great tv, cozy reading spots, hot tub, easy to get around the island and back home, and daily enjoying the birds and deer. One upstairs bedroom with very comfy bed! It is important to know bedroom is via spiral staircase so nighttime bathroom trips could be tricky for some. We appreciated how the tv had a motion sensor that would wake up the screen for additional, picturesque night light. We were a bit disappointed in the condition of the private beach nearby but ended up spending time at Cama Beach which we had almost entirely to ourselves. Cama Beach Cafe is fabulous, highly recommend. Rating 4 stars as I felt price was a bit high given the layout does not really allow for 2 couples to have private sleeping areas but great for family.
