Wakeup to sunrises over Mt. Baker and the Twin Sisters while staying at this Beachside home at Sandy Point, WA. End your day with gorgeous sunsets over the Strait of Georgia and the San Juan Islands. In between enjoy beachcombing, watching whales and local wildlife, or just relaxing in a comfortable chair on the deck enjoying the views.

The master bedroom features a luxurious king sized foam bed, high quality linens, down comforter and beautiful views of the beach out of the double opening doors. In addition there are two guest rooms, one with a queen size bed the other with two twin beds and both rooms are fitted wiith cozy linens and comforters.

Make your meals in the fully equipped kitchen with granite counters, stainless steel appiances and everything you will need to whip up a gourmet meal, or bbq up a feast on the gas bbq while gazing out at the ocean or Mount Baker. The living room has three couches (one with a hide-a-bed) TV with a DVD player and a surround sound system. Enjoy a fire in the custom created gas river rock fireplace where the stones were hand picked from the Nooksack river.

While visiting Beachside be sure and walk the many trails, visit the marina and stroll the three mile long beach. Tennis, basketball and pickleball are also a short stroll away.
Seven (7) quality golf courses are within a half hours drive. Enjoy fabulous dining & entertainment at The Silver Reef Casino which is only 10 minutes away. Shopping and other entertainment is also nearby in either Bellingham, Ferndale, Bellingham or Blaine. The slopes and trails of Mt. Baker are a 75 minute drive to the east.

Wonderful Beach Getaway

We loved our stay at Beachside! After years of Memorial Day camping, our group decided to get a house this year, and it was a great choice. The house is lovely and bright upstairs, with great views of the water and mountains. We had cloudy and rainy weather (I'm glad we weren't in a tent), so we didn't see Baker or the Cascades, but it was still wonderful. We explored the beach, took excursions to Fairhaven and Bellingham, and enjoyed playing games at the house. We took out the bikes one day and explored the walking paths near the marina. It's a beautiful area. The rooms were comfy, and with five of us (four adults and one teen), we all had plenty of room. We would recommend and would definitely come back to enjoy more beach and views with better weather.

Great family spot!

The house was as advertised and host communication was prompt and easy! We stayed for a quick weekend -two tweens, two teens, and two adults. The neighborhood and house was perfect for us all. Some of us hung at the beach, some got couch time, and the neighborhood was great for walking and jogging. We did a day trip to Bellingham and had the rest of our meals in the small but well-equipped kitchen. You will need to pack cooking oil (we forgot) but there was salt and pepper in the kitchen. The host left treats that everyone loved - thank you! Good sized dining table and living room meant we all had space to share or we could retreat to comfy rooms. Beds were all comfortable. Only downside was a bit of tiny sugar ants - which I don't think can be avoided and were not a huge problem for us. There was a note about making sure to pick up food to help prevent ants so we were careful. We would absolutely return for a calm escape with water and mountain views.

Perfect Refuge

This gorgeous, peaceful and comfortable home was a perfect destination. It had all the necessary amenities, had the best unobstructed water view and the gracious thoughtfulness of the hosts was unparalleled. We would undoubtedly look here first for our next twice-annual trip to Ferndale.

Wonderful waterfront retreat!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming home. The living space is on the upper floor so you can sit on the couch and see the Puget Sound and Mt Baker. You can tell the owners care about this place and their visitors. The kitchen is well stocked, it is clean, it is happy and homey. Oh and the beds are very comfortable. We will be back!

Wonderful nest during stormy weather

The second floor living area was a delightful, cozy, nest for us during a very windy, cold, January visit. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Views east to Mt Baker and west to San Juan Islands. Three comfy sofas arranged around a gas fireplace kept us warm.

Beach house

We loved our stay in this cozy beach home. Great views of the mountains, the sea and beautiful sunsets. Fun strolling on the beach and walking in the conservation area across the street. We all agreed that it’d be so fun to stay in warmer weather to take advantage of all the wonderful outdoor spaces.

Relaxing vacation with stunning views

This home is everything it seems and more. It is clean, comfortable, and relaxing with the best views around. We saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets and so many different birds on our walks. The hosts were attentive and kind and we definitely hope to be back someday.

Waterfront Gem

We were looking for peace and quiet with awesome views. We found it here! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen accommodations and the living area were spacious. There was plenty of deck space with comfortable furniture. The firepit and lawn chairs on the waterfront were a nice touch. We had views of Mt. Baker to the east and Vancouver Island to the west. While we spent most of our time touring the area, this beachside home was a pleasure to come "home" to!

Perfect family getaway to celebrate my wife's birthday!

This beautifully situated, well-appointed three-bedroom home brought a huge smile to my wife's face as we surprised her with a family getaway for her birthday! The three bedrooms provided ample space for my wife and myself plus our three adult daughters and one son-in-law. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, the sunrises over the Cascades, and the fresh, salty air!

September stay on the Pacific

The house and the views were excellent. You could see the sunrise when sitting on the deck over the garage and you could see the sunset and ocean when sitting on the deck at the other end of the house. The house is extremely clean and well maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable which is very unusual for a VRBO. Again, we must say the house was beautiful and we would stay there again.

Absolutely Perfect!

Definitely recommend staying at the beautiful home! Spectacular views, perfect location and the most comfortable and clean home. Communication with the owners was very easy. Quick responses. We loved kayaking in the morning and bike rides during the day. The sunsets were breathtaking! Amazing memories made here!

Quiet Seaside Vacation

We had a wonderful four night stay at this beautiful seaside home. Very comfortable, clean and all of the amenities we needed. On rainy days, we played games, read stories and watched movies with our kids. Had a beautiful dinner outside patio overlooking the ocean with a gorgeous sunset watching the fish jump. Walked down the rocky beach searching for shells and crabs. And took a bike ride through all of the walking trails. It was perfection! Will be back!

Peaceful and spectacular sunsets!

We had a glorious 5 days enjoying the serenity of this beachside oasis. We used the deck for relaxing, reading, and watching the bunnies. Sunsets were enjoyed down by the water with a glass of wine and some cheese. We loved the local area, and highly recommend the state and county parks for hiking, especially Pt. Whitehorn Marine Reserve (beautiful hike and spectacular water views). The house was clean and well appointed with a very comfy main bedroom. it's obvious the owner's treasure this home and it is definitely a treasure for which we are very happy they shared with us. We're already thinking about when we will come back for more treasure!

Magical getaway!

My family stayed here for a wedding weekend. After a long journey from Maine. We were so pleased when we got there and walked into this lovely, well appointed home with views of the Pacific on one side and Mount Baker looming on the other. There are multiple places to sit and take in the views which lent itself to a very relaxing atmosphere. Across the street we found many walking trails the “Clueless and Lark trail”was a family favorite 🙏 The proprietors were readily accessible and answered any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed this magical place and hope to be back again one day! With gratitude

Another fantastic stay

This was our second time staying at this lovely Sandy Point waterfront home, and we loved it just as much as the first. The home is super clean, has everything one could need, and the views from the awesome decks on both sides of the house cannot be beat. We could spend a week just sitting on either deck. The home is perfect, and we had a great time in the area. Hope to return!

The perfect week

My friend and I stayed at Stacey’s home for a week and absolutely loved it. We were both in shock at how beautiful the view was as soon as we turned the corner into the community. Once we got inside, everything was spotless and fresh. The views and proximity to the water are even better than the photos. We spent as much time as we could on the deck staring at the view. We saw seals and a bald eagle while sitting outside having coffee. Though we couldn’t use the outdoor fire pit because of a fire burn ban issued due to dry weather, it would have gotten good use. It’s definitely a great spot to sit in the evenings and have a fire being right by the water. The home was so comfortable, it truly felt like our own home, not an afterthought with cheap, uncomfortable furniture like many rental properties. The couches and beds were so comfortable and felt clean and fresh. Although the outdoor chairs got most of the use because we couldn’t have had better weather the week we stayed. The next door neighbors, Don and Kathy were so unbelievably friendly. They would chat with us and gave us great tips and tricks to use on whatever plans we had for that day. We were very happy to have met them and appreciated their friendliness and tips to take on our daily adventures. We would be excited to recommend Stacey’s beach house to anyone, and would absolutely love to come and stay again. Thank you Stacey for being such a gracious host! One of the best!

Beautiful views

Beautiful views of the ever changing waters and islands in the background. Harbor Seal’s, boats and a Eagle are easily seen. My Baker is a little elusive but came into full view as the weather cleared out. Great location to venture out for sight seeing. Would stay again.

We are an active family of 5 that loves the ocean. We find Beachside to be a wonderful place to relax and create fun family memories. When we are here we can be found combing the beach for shells, walking the trails and eating gooey smores around the firepit. The close proximity to Bellingham has allowed us to spend many quality family times here. Our children love the change of pace and the fun activities this home has to offer.

Why they chose this property

Because of the Mt. Baker and Twin Sister views to the east, and the Georgia Strait and island views to the west. It is very close to Bellingham where we live.
