Come enjoy yourself at the lake, relaxing, fishing, birdwatching, swimming, kayaking or just relax in the deck or screen porch with hot tub. A great place to relax and unwind is by the fire pit. The home sits on 5 acres on Lake Chesdin in Church Road Virginia. The first floor offers the master bedroom with a 70” tv with lake views and a master bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. living room offers excellent views of the lake, a 65” tv with surround sound, also on the first floor is a fully equipped kitchen, half bath and dining area with seating for 5. On the second floor there is a full bath and bedroom with king bed. There are loved cats that live outside on the property.

Beware of 4 cats!

Arrived with no issue because I did receive a chat message from owner on how to find alone with contact just in case. Once a there I messaged the owner again to ask about entry and stated that it will be unlocked and keys in the tray. As soon as I go up the steps I was greeted by a cat and once I opened the door RAN inside to the upstairs bedroom under the bed. Please keep in mind no pets allowed and nothing in the description about any animals, and my daughter is deathly allergic. I go upstairs to get the cat that went under the bed to go back outside, which I do accomplish. Poor kid had to wait an hour to feel better. After getting settled and wanting some entertainment we looked around for a book or note concerning wifi or welcome, there was nothing. Had to end up talking the owner once again to ask. I was told to climb up to activate the wifi on a phone. I also noticed and found weird but the house was completed stocked with food to include the fridge. Around 4 o'clock in the morning the 4 cats are pawing at the window and door asking for something. No matter where you go throughout the house they follow you and being to paw again.

Family connections

This was a great location for us to reconnect with family members, meet our new grand-daughter, and enjoy time away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The outdoor living space was perfect and the sunsets were absolutely stunning!

Chesdin fishing trip

Our first time staying at this property. So glad we found it - it will be our first choice for future trips to Chesdin. The house is spacious and wonderfully appointed. Kitchen has everything you'll need. Plenty of parking (we had 2 boats/trucks). The neighborhood is quiet and safe. House sits right on the water w/ a fabulous view of the sunset. This place is great for a family get-away or homebase for a fishing trip. Minutes to the Whippernock ramp.
