Central Heat & AC
Newly Remodeled

If it's a Montana experience you are looking for then look no further than The Conductor's House, a true Montana historic home on a private acreage. This 4 bedroom and 2.5 bath home has recently been remodeled which creates a modern mountain feel to this classic farmhouse. Let's take a look inside and see what awaits! The main level has a bedroom just off the living room with a double (long) bed and a full ensuite bathroom. The living area and kitchen are expansive and provide plenty of room for friends and family to sit and chat after a day of exploring. The modern wood stove will provide plenty of warmth on those cool Montana evenings (along with the newly installed central heating and air conditioning system). There is a large back deck just off the kitchen for entertaining, grilling or just relaxing. The kitchen has everything you will need for a home cooked meal with plenty of cooking utensils and equipment, not to mention a brand new gas stove!

As you head upstairs you will see the master suite just off to your right with it's own private deck area. This bedroom has a king sized bed, new large smart TV and a large closet to settle in. The other 2 bedrooms upstairs have very comfortable queen and double beds and each shares the full bathroom on this level. There are newer laundry machines for those longer stays if needed. Almost every window in this home provides amazing views so no need to fight over who gets what room.

Just a 10 minute drive away is the historic city of Whitefish. If you enjoy shopping and dining then this is the place for you! There are many Clothing, Souvenir and Antique shops for you to enjoy. Take pleasure in some of the finest restaurants, bars, breweries, and distilleries that the Flathead Valley has to offer! There are fun events including music, theater, and festivals year-round! City Beach at Whitefish Lake is also only 10 minutes away! You have easy access to spectacular hiking, mountain biking, golfing, water sports, fly fishing, whitewater rafting, and all the Flathead Valley has to offer! Whitefish is home to beautiful Whitefish Mountain Resort! The resort is well known for a pleasant variety of runs, short waits in line, and for its consistently good snow conditions, on average 300 inches a year! Praised in National Ski magazine as the #3 place to ski in the country!

When the snow melts, Whitefish Mountain Resort becomes home to thrilling zip lines and an alpine slide, world-class downhill, and cross-country mountain biking, and the unique Walk in the Treetops. In addition, you have easy access to spectacular hiking, golfing, water sports, fly fishing, whitewater rafting, and Glacier National Park! This home is the perfect base camp for a visit to Montana's majestic Flathead Valley. This is your four-season destination place!

10/10 Excellent

Stunning!

This historic house has restored original elements nicely mixed with elegant style. We were pleased to find everything we needed. The nice appliances made it easy for my husband to create his delicious dinners. The high sealings and many windows allowed us to see and feel we were a part of the picturesque setting. We were warm and comfortable, looking out at the snow covered fields framed by mountains. We looked right at my new favorite ski resort. So much nicer than i could have imagined. I would love to come back to stay longer to experience some of the places and activities we couldn't complete in a week.

4/10 Poor

VRBO stay

The house was beautiful and had the best view. We have a few highlights to note: 1. The deck needs to be fixed. Someone is going to get hurt on it as it bows and flexes. 1. The rental company is NOT good. We communicated with them when we checked in because the power was out at the house. We received no correspondence or response back. Nothing! If I was the owner of this house and I heard the vacation rental company I am paying for didn't have the decency to check on the house before guests arrived, I would be traumatized. There were dead flies all over the floor and bed and wet carpet in the master bedroom. It was obvious no one had ensured the house was ready for occupants. 2. So for the house—it was wonderful and beautiful. For the rental experience, the Vacay rental company gets a 2/10.
