Snowcap Lodge offers the perfect blend of quaint detail and mountain luxury. This brand new 3 story, 3200 square foot home has 7 bedrooms and 4 full baths, gas fireplaces, and wireless Internet.
Don't let the wintry name fool you! There is plenty to keep you occupied all year long at Snowcap. Ample deck space (720 sq. ft.) and a covered patio are perfect for hosting larger groups outside. And while inside offers lots of light and space, one is still able to find a cozy corner. Spend a cooler evening in front of the indoor/outdoor fireplace, shoot some pool, barbecue, and do it all while listening to your favorite tunes through the house-wide wireless sound system. This lovely home is sister to our Skye View Chalet, which is directly across the street. Both are located in peaceful Lake Harmony Estates, and are just a short hop to Lake Harmony itself, and the area's variety of year round local options. Also in close proximity are Big Boulder Ski Resort and H2O Indoor Water Park.

Spacious and Convenient

There were four families with a variety of ages staying in this spacious. Nice spaces for enjoying each other company while staying here. Very close to restaurants, skiing, snow tubing. Beautiful flow through the house and with lots of space to entertain the 18 people with us.

Cozy family reunion stay

Snowcap was perfect for our summer family reunion. 8 adults and 3 children were exceptionally comfortable. It was our first time in Lake Harmony and the beach access was lovely. Half of the week had horrible weather but we had a great time cooking, eating, watching movies and reading books together. Thank you for a great place!

Great Large Group Stay in the Poconos

The property comfortably fit our group of 19 for a trip to the Poconos with adequate parking as advertised. The large deck was perfect for grilling in good weather and covered sections worked well for periods of rain. The fire pit and hot tub were nice additions for visits year round. Minor issues during our stay were promptly addressed by the owner and community maintenance. All were friendly, thorough and responsive. Gas/grocery/local businesses nearby, 30 minutes to major area attractions. I would gladly recommend this property for large groups and stay again. We had a great time!

Great Property! Spacious, Clean & Cozy!

So happy we stumbled upon this rental! The house is very spacious and cozy. There was more than enough room for our large group with multiple family rooms and a huge dining table. Everyone LOVED the wireless sound system that plays through out the house! The hot tub and pool table were a big hit too. The only down side is that the mattresses on a few of the beds were pretty uncomfortable; very little support and a little too soft. Other than that the place was great!

Spacious

Space wise, this is a great property. Our group ranged from 10 months to 68. There was enough space for all 16 of us. We all agreed the house was a perfect size and the location was good but it needs some TLC. The hostess package is the smallest we’ve experienced. With some TLC and a hostess package that is more gracious, this could be a 5 star rental.

Pocono Golf Getaway

Snowcap loved up to its billing. Large group for a golf getaway and the house did not disappoint. Plenty of rooms/beds/bathrooms... large spacious areas inside and out... and very fair pricing. Definitely recommend for large families or groups and would stay again for sure! Thx

We were very disappointed with this rental. There were basics that were not there like a blender, non stick pans (which I asked if they had and they said yes), towels for the kitchen and many more. The house is not big enough to have all 21 of us sit jn one room together. The basement smelled horrible, dishwasher and dishes smelled like fish. By far the worst VRBO rental we've done. They gave us 2 pods for the dishwasher for a 4 day rental and expected us to start the dishwasher before we left. At least provide enough cleaning supplies so people on vacation don't have to shop for everything. The only thing we should have had to take is food and drinks. It was not well furnished. It also didn't have Air Cinditioning in all rooms. Not a place I would rent again. Pics make it look easy better than it was.

Weekend Getaway

Overall this house fit a large group without feeling crowded. The main concern was the inability to use multiple outlets in the kitchen because it would trip the breaker. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with essentials. The hot tub worked well throughout the weekend. The driveway was spacious and fit many cars which was great!

Nice weekend

We had a good time at Snowcap with a group of 10 adults and 9 kids but maybe not the best place for little children. Our 3 yr old spent the first day/night in a hospital with badly burned hand from the glass of the gas fireplace. Would be a good idea to place a sign or warning of some sort about how hot it gets. We Probably should have been more aware of the heat but couldn’t hurt to have a warning. It’s a great house and the outdoor space was great for all our little kids to play. The kitchen felt cramped but overall it was a good stay and a fun weekend

Very nice house

I rented the home for some friends and I to celebrate my birthday. The home was very clean and I loved the double fireplaces, it was really cozy. Hot tub was great as well! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful getaway

The house is very spacious with a lot of entertainment in the basement. We were a group of 14 people and it was perfect. The location is great because it’s next to many vineyards and out door activities. The house itself felt like you never want to leave. Thank you Voytek for sharing your home.

Amazing stay in a great location

The property management time was super responsive to questions I had leading up to the stay. The house is located nearby many activities and stores which was super convenient. We took advantage of the nearby lake views which are just a short walk down the block (great for morning walks!). The house itself was super spacious and perfect for enjoying some good food and good company. All the TVs and devices worked great, and the surround sound system in the house was really convenient and came in handy all weekend. I'd highly recommend this place for anyone coming as a large group!

Great house for get together

We all had a great time. The only thing to note is the house is managed by a property management company, so there was none of that extra touch that you may expect from short term rentals. They made absolutely no attempt to check how we were doing. But it was a nice house!
