About this property

Great Location Unique Luxury Cottage- Sleeps 3 Spa Shower

Nestled atop a two car garage the cottage, referred to as The Tree Top cottage, boasts open space and a 20 foot cathedral ceiling. Decorated in beach shanty sheik the cottage has one bedroom, one bathroom, a living room, dining area and fully stocked kitchen. The bedroom has a king bed with a new Helix mattress and ultra upscale linens and pillows. There is a smart tv in the bedroom as well as the living room. The bath room has a large spa shower that was copied from the spa in the Sea Island resort. It is truly magical. Relax and enjoy the breeze and palms from the deck just out the door to the cottage. The cottage comfortably sleeps three with the king bed in the bedroom and the queen pull out sofa in the living room. A keurig pod coffee maker is provided as well as an assortment of pods. Free hi speed WiFi is also provided. We stock the cottage with soft luxury towels and linens and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook meals. With over 250 five star reviews you can’t go wrong staying in the treetops. Located on a dead end street, tucked behind our 5 bedroom house, it is super private and quiet. Attending a wedding or event on Sea Island, the cottage is the closest vaca rent that you can find to Sea Island and just across from HarrisTeeter as well as many restaurants and shops. It is truly the perfect location. We have been owner managers for over 15 years now and know very well how to provide you with a memorable and exquisite stay. If the cottage is booked we have three other rentals for you. Property numbers are 4757544 (5 bed 3 bath house) 4653229 (1 bedroom 1 bath condo) and 4041154 (2 bedroom 2 bath condo). We enjoyed our stay. Good access to places in the city and nearby that we wanted to visit. Hosts provided a good list of places to eat and visit. We had good long beach walks on St Simons and on Driftwood Beach, Jekyll Island.

Peaceful cottage off the beaten path
The property was very clean and quiet. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but I am very particular. I'm not a fan of the memory foam mattress. Overall we were very comfortable and enjoyed our time at the cottage.

A great place to hideaway
We needed a place to stay for few nights after escaping just before a snowstorm visited our house in the Midwest. This place was perfect for that - a quiet street with virtually no traffic, a cozy place that had everything we needed. It was right near the bike trail so we could go anywhere that we wanted to, including the restaurants and shops in the village. It was an enjoyable break on the island! We are looking forward to the next time.

We came the week after hurricane helene and upon arrival the stairs and yard were a wreck, but someone was there Saturday morning blowing off and picking up limbs. Cottage was extremely clean!

Wonderful VRBO in Saint Simons!
My husband & I stayed at this VRBO for 4 nights last week while we were in Saint Simons Island for a friend's wedding. The house was super clean and I loved the decor. Excellent communication with the host and we had everything we needed. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the island. We would definitely stay here again!

quiet time
The cottage is well designed and well equipped: lots of thoughtful touches most places do not have. The location is quiet, convenient to stores, restaurants, movies, etc. The historic sites, the beach, etc are just a few minutes away. A perfect place to stay away from crowds but convenient to everything St. Simons has to offer.
