Why they chose this property
The "Moulin d'Ignières" was built in the 8th century by the monks of the Abbey of La Couture for the production of flour, then sold throughout Europe. Bought in 1930 by Marcel Pagnol, the mill was raised and its wheel restored by Marcel Pagnol himself.
"The Mill is a magical place. You will never find any setbacks there. Everything works out, everything succeeds".
Marcel Pagnol (correspondence Sept 1951)
