Needs Some Work
Had to call for check-in instructions when we were 30 minutes out after messaging owner a few times prior that I still hadn't received them. He did apologize profusely and sent them right away. When we showed up after 4 the cleaner was still there. She asked that I get the towels out of the dryer when we got back and distribute to the bathrooms. I wanted to love the property as Eric was very nice when I got him on the phone but I just didn't. We stay at a VRBO several times a year for my granddaughter's dance competition and I'm sorry to say this was the first bad experience we have had.I tried to leave a longer review but ran out of space so here's a summary of what I felt needed addressing: Steep front steps to property. Much better off if you park on side street and come up the side or back. That's where the keypad is anyway; WiFi didn't work; Flight Path for Louisville airport; No top sheets for any of the beds, just comforter; NO TOWEL RODS in any of the bathrooms; No kitchen towels; Banister going to 2nd floor NEEDS REPAIR. Extreme safety hazard; 2nd floor is on separate A/C and took a long time to be a comfortable temperature. Why the cleaner didn't turn it on since they were there I don't understand; Couldn't get ice maker to work; Dishwasher was not securely fastened and felt like it was going to pull out everytime we opened it.Again, this could be a really nice place to stay if some things were addressed.
