Glacier Summit - Spacious, New & Modern Villa Overlooking the Forest & Rockies

Glacier Summit is a unique and spacious barn style 2 story Villa overlooking Lower St. Mary Lake and 270° of Eastern Rockies and Glacier Park. The villa was built in 2022 with all modern kitchen and all amenities found in your own home.

The Villa is pet friendly with the entire forest and acreage as an off lease area. There are 2 bedrooms each with queen beds. There is a living area that has space for additional full or twin air matress with bedding provided.

The upper floor deck is located at the tree canopy level and surrounded by forest, as spectacular as an Amazon tree house but in Montana.

There is a variety of wildlife on and around property. The dark sky has fantastic stargazing and has a large firepit for climate changing campfires.

The Villa is 10mi to both St. Mary and to Many Glacier. The property is180 acres with walking trails on and adjacent to the property.

The Summit is on the West side of Divide Ridge and overlooks the East Rockies. The upper deck is has a spectacular sunset view.

Amazing and cute

The property is beautiful and the house is adorable. Effective use of all the spaces. Enjoyed the fire pit and star gazing. Jon was very responsive and helpful. Definitely stay again.

Great location and thoughtful details

This property is located close to the St. Mary’s entrance of the park and relatively close to the Many Glacier entrance, so it was very convenient for the activities we wanted to do on the East side like the Grinell Glacier hike. Also, less traffic entering on the east side and no separate vehicle reservation needed at St. Mary’s. We also appreciated the thoughtful details in the property that made it both cozy and functional - nice woodwork, modern kitchen and bathrooms, laundry availability and thoughtful decor. Also appreciated the air beds so we could allow our boys to sleep separately.

Love this place

Cozy, clean, secluded and fun! Very well located for easy access to east side of Glacier and Waterton lakes national park. Situated on a wooded hill with views out to the mountains of glacier, and no other houses or cabins within sight. Such a great place to come back to and relax at the end of each day! And it's in great shape. The pics are accurate. Perfect place to stay to explore the whole area east side. We loved the property and the cabin itself. I would definitely come back !

We got to Many Glacier before 6am and didn’t need vehicle tickets (easy <30 min drive). Saw a moose, black bear, two grizzlies in the park. The house is peaceful, quiet, clean, BEAUTIFUL views

Loved everything about this cabin, but when it says sleeps 6 it means 2 people are on blow up mattress. I feel it would have been better with 2 twin beds. But we managed and loved our stay here. Everything else was perfect!

Wild adventure

Jon was great in responding to our concerns. We got an extra air mattress and the place was incredibly convenient to GNP. You need to be alert to entering the property. You have to pass thru an Indian reservation and a cow grazing area, then open and close a gate to access the property that borders a closely adjoining property. The house is well equipped and just as pictured and described.

Stay outside east Glacier

This house was perfectly situated for hiking on the east side of Glacier NP, where the best hikes are. Jon was extremely responsive to our queries. All was as described. We saw some beautiful sunsets from house and the nearby cows were fun to see. Everything in the house was clean and new however noise carried throughout the house so it would be better for parties who only plan on sleeping in the bedrooms.

Great stay

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was great. Jon was super friendly. He stopped by to make sure everything was going well and to check if we needed anything. The house is located about 20-25 mins from Many Glacier Hotel (east side of park). We grabbed groceries in Columbia Falls and brought them with us because we were shopping for the entire week and needed a big grocery store.I’m not sure what stores are around the area. The sunrise from the road, heading to Glacier in the morning will take your breath away. The place is small and quaint but it was exactly what my family and I were looking for. Thank you Jon!

Glacier get away

Enjoyed use of the Glacier Summit during our trip to GNP. Proximity to Many Glacier gate was ideal. Property had everything as advertised and enjoyed our stay very much. Sitting around the camp fire and stargazing was magic. Hope to return. Thanks

Good location for East Entrance to Glacier

Cabin location was great for our stay on the east side of the park. Place was clean and good size for the 2 of us. The kitchen was well stocked. We did book the cabin about a year ago and we chose this location because at the time it listed a hot tub and air conditioning. We enjoy getting in the hot tub after hiking during the day and we were very disappointed not to have the hot tub. Also when we arrived it was 94 that day and we found no air conditioning. The host did offer a portable air conditioner the day after we arrived but by then it had cooled off.

Beautiful new chalet in a peaceful setting, convenient to St Mary and Many Glacier. Jon was very helpful and easy to communicate with. He even came to our rescue within 15 minutes with medicine for an allergic reaction. We loved sitting around the fire pit in the evenings.

This property is ideally situated for people wanting to visit St. Mary's and Many Glacier. It offers privacy without being too remote. We especially appreciated its cleanliness, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had a very enjoyable stay!

Great Glacier Park location

Great night near the East entrance and discovered while there how close it was to Many Glacier. Next time we stay would like to explore Many Glacier area within GNP. Need to stay multiple days next time!! Thanks for the beautiful accommodations.

Peaceful retreat

Absolutely loved this cabin and its location!!! It is completely secluded in nature with Mountain View’s and plenty of land to hike on. It is only minutes from some local cafes, though, and close to St Mary’s entrance to Glacier. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great secluded get-away convenient to East side of Park!

We loved our stay at Jon's place! The location was convenient to the East side of the park (Two- Medicine and Many Glacier). Jon was extremely helpful and gave great feedback about local restaurants and the property. The cabin was the perfect space to unwind and enjoy the remote beauty of the area. The cabin is perfect for two couples, two individuals, or travelers with a small child. We had two couples and two medium-sized (10-11 year olds) children and were over capacity for sleeping arrangements. Jon provided a full sized air mattress to use in the upstairs loft with bedding, but it was a bit small to accommodate larger children. A smaller child shouldn't have a problem. That said, I think 4 travelers would be the perfect number for this space, 5 travelers will diminish the upstairs loft space, and 6 travelers might make for tight sleeping. If my husband and I travel back to the area without kids we would definitely stay at Jon's place again without hesitation! Highly recommend!

Vacation getaway

The cabin was nice and clean. The upstairs sofa was not very comfortable. The check out time was although understandable, a bit early for those of us who like to sleep late. Overall, a great place to stay!

I have owned Glacier Ridge acreage in Babb, MT since 2005. I have built 4 additional vacation Villas to share this wonderful place with visitors to GNP. Glacier Summit was complete-d in mid-August 2022. It is located on the one of the highest points on the acreage so it has a majestic view of the forest canopy.

Why they chose this property

Spectacular location overlooking near Glacier Park and within 15 minute drive to Many Glacier and St. Mary Park entrance. 1 Hour from Waterton National Park Entrance in Canada.

This property is new, beautiful and is designed for travelers that want the same amenities of home. The upper deck is at tree canopy height providing almost a tree house experience. The views from the upper deck have no equal to any other vacation rental property on the East side of Glacier Park. There is a 270° view of the Rockies, St Mary Lake and the Continental Divide Ridge to the East

The Villa is located on in the forest providing tranquility and privacy however 2 minutes to the 464 highway.

Incredible panorama views of the Rockies and forest. The location is , with tranquil, with wildlife on the property, sometimes right outside the door.
