My family really enjoyed our stay in Arnold. I loved the furnishings and the view from the window in the living room was beautiful! There was quite a bit of snow when we arrived and we had some shoveling to do to access the grill & hot tub. Luckily, my sons enjoyed the novelty of the task and got right on it.My only issue was that I wished there was some sort of binder with instructions. I am technologically lame so I struggled with how the thermostat worked and how to get the fireplace heater to come on. Oh, and I would suggest some pot holders-I burned myself something wicked in the oven (maybe I could just not find them?).Overall, fantastic stay and I would love to come back in the summer and enjoy all the decks & seating areas.
Very accommodating. Stove was a little bit of a challenge. Wish the kitchen was a little more stocked. For example, no cheese grater, no whisk. But it was cozy and just what we needed.
Had a great trip! So quiet and able to see so many stars. Was great to sit out by the fire pit at night or sit in the hot tub and enjoy the outdoors. Great response from hosts as well.
We highly recommend this cabin and would totally stay here again! We had everything we needed and loved being so close to Blue Lake Springs Rec center and Big Trees State Park. Enjoyed our family time immensely and appreciated all the thoughtful touches that the hosts provided…even the extra toothbrush (for my son that forgot his). Thank you for providing the comfortable, fun space for us to create happy family memories.
This property was great. The right size for our family of four adults and one teenager. Nice bedrooms, comfortable sleeping was a plus! Great kitchen with everything you might need to make your meals. Also a huge frige to store all your perishables and cold beverages along with a large freezer compartment. This place was very clean and well kept. Would rent again!!!
Fabulous home! Keyless entry was great--easy to get in and out. Walking in, the great room ahead has floor to ceiling windows looking out into the trees and snow. Kitchen was well-stocked and clean--even a drawer with batteries (for remotes) and an extra filter (for the refrigerator). Paper napkins, dish/hand/DW soap, paper towels and kitchen linens were all plentiful. Extra appliances are inside the cabinets, so be sure to look!Bedrooms were nicely made up--the "softest blankets ever" were on the beds, plus extra throws and pillows. (I couldn't find extra pillowcases, but was able to borrow an extra bed pillow from the bunk room, no problem!) Each room has a large flatscreen TV. Mattresses were just the right amount of firm and soft. Bedside lights would be a great addition, though overhead lighting and fans were good!Bathrooms were stocked with soft, sparkling white linens, scented hand soaps, and shower shampoo/conditioner/bodywash. The deck has thick cushioned chairs surrounding the propane fire (bring marshmallows!), a shade umbrella and covered dining table for 6. The hottub was so warm and inviting, with soothing jets...and great view of the stars at night. The gameroom downstairs was a little cold the first 2 days, but it slowly warmed up. We just wore jackets to play pool, air hockey and video games. It was such a nice perk to have the games! Don't miss two additional decks outside that overlook a small creek with waterfalls! We'll be back-Thanks for sharing!
