Grindstone yurt

The yurt was cozy and welcoming. The local trail system was closed but we were able to find others in the area. The river view was perfect.

Honestly didn't know what to expect from a Yurt. This property is in a beautiful location right next to the river. It is all new, extremely clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in this area.

Perfect!

My husband and I and our two teens stayed here while we hiked in Baxter. We loved everything about this place. It was very well stocked and so cleverly laid out. We adored the deck and the river view. It's so helpful to have spices and condiments available, as one can never bring everything. The tap water was delicious, so must be well water.

Unique way to get away from it all

As advertised. Clean, spacious, modern. This is a remote area and a fantastic way to leave everything behind. There's no cell service here (by my carrier, at least), so it was actually nice to not be bothered by incoming texts. The on-site wifi is very strong, so you can stay connected if you wish. There was some good fishing on the river - right in the backyard. At night while lying in bed the gentle breeze creates a white-noise effect on the roof, lulling you to sleep. We'd definitely stay here again.

Elegant Oasis in the Wilderness

My husband, son (11) and myself stayed at this lovely yurt for 3 nights. We were wowed just upon walking in. The amenities are lovely, state of the art appliances, luxuries in the wilderness really. When we arrived it was so hot and having the a/c unit in the yurt was so amazing! We hosted old friends who were able to come over and enjoy the beauty of the location and the coolness of the a/c! The beds were so comfortable, and the arrangement of furniture was perfect for having 6 people more than comfortably talking and carrying on conversations without feeling crowded. We very much look forward to coming back, hopefully in the winter next time, when we can take advantage of the cross country skiing. We loved our stay and we know others will too. A treasure for sure!
