Spacious and great host

Winnie was a wonderful, communicative host. The property is cute, spacious, and within walking distance of coffee, restaurants, etc. Also very close to the zoo, our main reason for traveling. The only downside is the house is right by a freeway entrance so there was street noise. Our white noise machine helped drown it out.

We ended up choosing another property as parking was an unexpected challenge

We were in San Diego for a work event and we chose the rental as it met our needs. However, although we were informed there would be street parking, we never expected to be met with the parking challenges that actually existed upon our arrival. We didn't even enter or use the rental because we could not find parking at or even very close to the rental. The owner was quick to respond and offered help in trying to locate nearby parking. However the parking challenges left us trying to figure out among other things, how to transfer multiple pieces of work and personal luggage back and forth from wherever we could find parking. Even though we knew we would not get a refund, we ended up choosing to find and stay at a hotel that met our needs and where parking was more available.

Clean and Welcoming

This property was nice and clean. The owner was quick to my questions even last second when I was in the home. Even though I only stayed for a day it was nice and safe. Plus they have a jenga!
