About this property

The area where the apartment is located is very special, in the historical center just behind the famous La Fenice Theatre, a few steps from Campo Santa Maria Zobenigo (Giglio) where along the famous Calle Larga XXII Marzo (full of shops, Griffe and 5-star hotels that overlook the Grand Canal) you get a 5-minute walk to Piazza San Marco. The location is central and enviable.
The entrance looks like a typical Venetian entrance, with a scale of Istrian stone.
The apartment consists of a large entrance, two double bedrooms (with possibility of 2 single beds or 1 double bed for each room), two bathrooms with shower, a kitchen with dining room and a large living room with a sofa bed for any two other guests. It is equipped with air conditioning.
The view from the living room is a typical view of a Venetian canal with the passage of gondolas and boats typical of the lagoon.
The apartment has recently been carefully restored and the ceiling beams, as well as the marble floor 'terrazzo veneziano', give this home a touch of sophistication and elegance.

Magical location in spotlessly clean apartment

From our arrival by water taxi, which was mere steps away from the apartment, we were delighted with our accommodation. The views from the lounge room windows were magical as we watched gondolas glide by. The apartment is huge and on a very quiet little side street moments from the action. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. We went to al Teatro bar and restaurant around the corner for breakfast and dinner and enjoyed every experience. We would definitely stay here again!

Only Place to stay in St Marco!

Exactly as advertised! Best place we have stayed in yet! Central location to walk anywhere! Huge rooms..excellent facilities...only one set of stairs to go up. Spotlessly clean! Having two complete separate “en-suites” is a bonus...especially for two couples! Yes..the Gondolas, do, pass by the windows..yes some are singing..so great to experience ..we loved watching and listening to them 🎼🎼 If you don’t like the noise...close the windows...there are air conditioners! Francesca is excellent at any correspondence ...and met us promptly! Her directions to the apartment were very simple to follow and spot on! We would definately choose this apartment again and fully recommend it to anyone!

Venice Venice.....

This place is great, wonderfully large, fully equipped. I loved being able to open the windows and see and hear the gondolas going past (and there were lots). The location is really good, not far off the beaten track, Francesca was very helpful, we asked about restaurants, supermarkets, she was able to tells us lots and we eat with great success at the ones she suggested. I was handy to have 2 bathrooms and a washing machine.The kitchen was great. The beds comfortable. You must visit La Fenice do the tour it was well worth it. the WIFI was ok you if went to far away from the lounge room it did fade a bit but no problems getting it going etc. would stay again in a heart beat!

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful setting

We stayed in this apartment as a family of 4 for 3 nights as part of a 5 week holiday touring Italy. I found the booking experience to be simple and efficient. We were last in contact just before leaving Australia and we were issued with instructions on how to reach the apartment and how to contact to gain access. Once we were in Venice, our arrival was smooth considering that I had my purse stolen in Milan and contacted Francesca via text to let her know we would be later than expected. She was understanding and said to just contact when we were on the water taxi which we did. She was there waiting for us when we arrived. Yes, as others have written it is a little tricky even with fantastic instructions to locate the apartment. That is just the beauty of Venice, it is a very old city with lots of twists and turns, not like a street with houses, so just allow a little more time. We used the instructions given plus the gps on a phone and reached the apartment with just a couple of wrong turns. The apartment is absolutely fantastic. If you want the true Venice experience then this is the apartment for you! Having gondolas go past with singing and the playing of instruments is a hoot and just good fun! Our kids talk about this as one of the highlights of the whole trip. The apartment is nicely decorated and well fitted out. We could have moved in and lived there! The beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean.There was even gladwrap, oil etc in the well fitted out kitchen to use if needed. On the subject of wifi, Francesca gave us the box and we had it up and working in minutes. We had no problem with it the entire time we were there. The location of the apartment was great, close to all the main attractions and we had restaurants etc almost on your doorstop. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to friends and family and when next in Venice we will rebook. I found the booking process to be simple and the communication with Francesca a delight.

Amazing Apartment

The apartment was very spacious. It fits 5 people comfortably. The apartment has great views of the water from one of the rooms and the living room. The management team was great, answered all of my questions and recommended great local restaurants. The apartment is located in the perfect spot, everything within a short walk. I will definitely be back and book the same apartment.

Winning Visit in Venice

A beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment with lots of room for everyone. Our family enjoyed the space, and watching the gondolas go past from our window. Location was great! Lots of shops, food and sites that were very convenient. Definitely recommend this place!

Picturesque perfect

What a lovely apartment in a lovely City. My favorite part was being able to watch the gondolas go by right outside our window. Francesca was an amazing communicator and very helpful. We took a water taxi from the apartment to our next transportation just for fun and she set it all up. It was amazing!

We stayed here for 4 nights, and the location was great, central to everything. However, there are mold/mildew problems. The washing machine had mold in it, the bath mats were moldy, there was a leak in the living room from rain, and we found evidence of mold on the wall.

Wonderful apartment!

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! Obviously, we thought it looked nice in pictures but, honestly, the pictures didn’t do it justice. It is even nicer in person! The bedrooms, living room and kitchen were large and it was very clean. When we arrived, Francesca had all the windows open and it was just lovely, feeling the breeze and hearing the gondolas go by. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing them—particularly the ones with singers! It felt like being in a movie! If you are especially sensitive to noise, you may be bothered by some of the boats that came by later at night or earlier in the morning. But with the windows closed it really didn’t bother us. I can’t recommend this apartment highly enough. Francesca was also lovely and helpful and very responsive to our messages. She arranged a water taxi for our early morning departure to the airport that picked us up literally right outside the door of the building. I can’t imagine anyone not loving this apartment.

Great Apartment and Location

The location was a short walk to San Marco and also Rialto bridge. It was in a slightly less congested area. Francesa was so helpful getting us a water taxi to the airport which picked us up just outside the door. The apartment is clean and had everything we needed. Thanks Francesca, we will be back!

A Fun Place to stay in Venice

We loved the apartment! It’s in a beautiful location and we really enjoyed watching the gondolas make their way through the canals. Be aware that it’s a bit of a hike from the vaporetto stop, so if you have a lot of luggage, it’s a haul, but definitely worth the stay.

Wonderful apartment on canal

We were very pleased with this apartment and its location in Venice. It was perfect for two couples vacationing in Venice. Francesca was a great host, very responsive and helpful with our travel arrangements in Venice. She provided complete information as to what we needed to provide her, how we would locate the apartment and she met us there to go over the details of the apartment. We absolutely loved opening the windows and watching and listening to the gondolas as they passed below us. A helpful suggestion to anyone navigating the streets of Venice is to have Google maps available on your phone! Thank you Francesca for making this charming apartment available to guests.

Lovely apartment

We really enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty of space for our family of four; it’s much larger than we anticipated from the photos. The location is ideal for walking around the city, and the canal view made it quite special. I highly recommend this property.

Lovely Venezia

Francesca apt is a short 10-15 minutes from most of the action, which is important since there are no cars in Venice, only boats and gondolas. And speaking of gondolas, you can hear then going by all day long. Very beautiful. Francesca was super helpful ahead of our trip and helped us figure out the best way for us to get to her apt. And, then once we arrived, she greeted us, showed us around and answered all of our questions. You wil have a great Venetian experience staying at Francesca’s very large apt!

Great place/location in Venice.

Communication was perfect, made arrangements from airport directly to property and again to train station. Perfect for 4, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, kitchen & living areas. Watch gondalas from bedroom or living area. Beautiful stay!!

Great Stay

The apartment is exactly as advertised and was very comfortable and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect. It was quick and easy to get anywhere. The area was quiet in the evening which was nice. Our host was amazing and helped us with getting taxis when we arrived and departed. I would strongly recommend and would stay here again when I return to Venice.
