Experience Black Mountain from this beautiful location that is walking distance to downtown. We are just steps away from the vibrant Black Mountain Downtown Historic District, famous for its shops, restaurants, breweries and music venues. This charming one bedroom suite is on the lower level of the building. The entire town of Black Mountain is walkable, making this the perfect home base for your mountain adventure! This home is over 100 years old, and shows itself as such.
Black Mountain Lodge has five units, each with a separate entrance. Unit 5 is a SMALL efficiency apartment with a DOUBLE BED (this means bedroom and kitchen are in the same room, with a small adjoining bathroom) with its entrance located on the far right side of the front porch. This cheerful 189 sq ft apartment has everything you need for cooking, dining, relaxing and sleeping all in one room. There is also a smart tv you can use to log into your streaming subscriptions. The separate bathroom is surprisingly roomy and bright.
We allow 1 well behaved pet, and if you bring them please be considerate of other groups in the building. Please no dogs that bark if you are away. Dogs must be in a crate if left alone. Keep dogs on a leash at all times when outside. Thanks!

Our community is a favorite destination for mountain biking, hiking and all sorts of other outdoor activities. Pack your fishing gear, bring your boots, and come enjoy everything our area has to offer! We are only minutes away from many must-see local attractions. You can get to the Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor Center in 15 minutes and the charming towns of Brevard and Hendersonville are both about an hour away.
Our location is perfect for groups who want to stay together while enjoying the privacy of having their own space. The front porch is the perfect place to gather, and Units 2 and 4 have some extra space that can provide a great indoor area for getting together with a few friends. Please feel free to rent more than one unit. Units 3 and 4 are opposite each other on the upper level, up some more steps from the front porch. They are ideal for people traveling together. Units 1 and 5 are both downstairs (You will still have some steps up the front porch to get to the entrances) and could be ideal for parents with kids who want a space of their own. With five units, you can mix and match to suit.
