Nice apartment, poor management.
When I got to the apartment, I thought the place was amazing! But things started to unravel as the trip continued. The first night I was there I noticed that there were a few hairs in the bed. I brought this to the attention of Vacasa and they told me to rest assured, action would be taken. Right after they said that, they had the audacity to ask me if I would rather have someone come take care of it during my stay, or after we checked out. Obviously you would want a clean bed while you are staying there, but even after informing them that we wanted them to come, they still didn’t send anyone. They even asked me if I didn’t mind doing the laundry myself, I was blown away by that response. No one came and we took did the laundry ourselves.
Another frustrating thing was I had asked for a late check out since the first day I booked the place, bc I was taking a red eye flight back home, and they said they would let me know 2 days before check out if it was available. They send me an email the day before I checked out, but only gave me a window of a few hours to request it before the option was gone. I feel as if they took advantage of knowing I had a late flight, and basically forced my hand into booking an extra day so I didn’t have to be at the airport for 12 hours. Saying the late check out request window has ended and it was no longer possible to get it. Meanwhile, no one was coming the next day (as I booked an extra day with no issues). Not too happy with the management.
