To Rome to meet family

This was a great location. We had a Vrbo cancel on us at 12pm the day before in a scramble we found this apartment. It was a better location and good for what we needed

BE WARE

Do NOT Stay here. This listing should NOT be on VRBO!! Our check-in was listed as anytime after 4pm. We asked to check in at 5pm and they didn’t arrive until after 7:30pm. The place was dirty with rat traps on ground level. We put our luggage in room at 7:45pm as it was already late and we went to dinner. On our return around 9;45pm, the electricity didn’t work! NO POWER and NO response from the owner. We waited for over half hr for a response from owner. After NO response my husband somehow found a fabulous place close to the Vatican that would make a reservation for us at such a late hour. They welcomed us at 11:30pm. It was a VERY hard night with 3 children and I hope that this place is unlisted!! PLEASE BEWARE!!!!

Twin beds? Not!

The apartment was difficult to get into with the owner having her friend meet us instead at a time that didn’t really work for us (1.5 hours after the stated check-in time on the listing). The apartment is SMALL. Like really small. One of the reasons I chose the apartment is because it stated it had twin beds in the second bedroom. When we get there, it's a pulled out sleeper couch. My teen son and daughter were not going to sleep on that. The apartment was mostly clean, except the shower. There was a mysterious something stuck to the wall above my head that I didn’t like to ponder what it might have been. The power went out four times while we were in the apartment. When I messaged the owner, I got no response on any question I asked. So the listing is (mostly accurate) but the general sense of the listing did not match the apartment.
