This cozy home takes you back in history to 1750 while enjoying modern luxuries.
Imagine staying in one of the earliest of homes in America that predates the American Revolutionary War! This home saw British General Bradock's Army occupation, the Civil War, the nearby John Brown trials and execution, and stood alongside three of the Washingtons that owned property nearby (and possibly this one too) area or settled here. Exposed renovations show the original cabin beams and building structure. Modern conveniences include AC Air and Heat in every room, high-speed wifi access for guests, washer, dryer, a towel warmer, and memory foam mattresses.
Nearby attractions include Harper's Ferry, Antietam and Gettysburg National Historic Parks, and Charles Town Racetrack and Casino. Historic Downtown is only two blocks away and offers shopping, restaurants, and a brew pub. Washington DC is only an hour and ten minute drive away.
