Property was fantastic. Walking down to Lake McDonald and being right off GTTS was great. Very roomy and as advertised. Great base camp for exploring the park.
Love how this place is right in Apgar Village! It is just upstairs from a restaurant, ice cream shop, and grocery/gift shop. It is beautiful and modern looking and just a short walk to Lake McDonald. It was the perfect base camp for our Glacier vacation!
Loved this space! Accurately described and very nicely appointed. We used this as a base camp for exploring Glacier, and it worked out great. Right on the lake and close to all of the amenities.
The accommodations were great. A few more amenities would have been helpful (Kleenex, small sugar packs). But everyone was very nice and the room was beautiful. Glacier National Park in the fall is breathtaking!!
The room is beautiful and well equipped. When we arrived the main door to the building was locked. It was snowing and it took some time to get someone there to unlock it. We had to call again the next morning as the heat was not working well. The last issue we did not call about because we were tired of calling, but hot water was non-existent.
The suite matched the pictures/description. Everything had been recently renovated. Enjoyed coffee on the patio in the morning. It worked well for our Glacier Park activities.
We were only able to come to Glacier for one overnight this trip and this place was perfect. It was new, clean, very nicely decorated, and the location was amazing. We were able to get an early start on a hike and had a great day. I would definitely recommend this place.
Great location for moving freely about Glacier National Park. Check-in and parking were a snap. Amenities and lake immediately available. Suite 1 is lovely, clean, modern, and comfortable. Will stay again if possible. Thank you!!
Beautiful suite and great location (right above Eddie's Store and Cafe). Parking right next to unit. Very short walk to Lake McDonald. Fully stocked kitchen with washer/dryer in the unit. Comfortable sitting area with fireplace and TV. Nice bathroom and walk in shower. Bed was very comfortable. Very clean and recently renovated. Would love to stay here again!!
As part of a multi stop trip, I reserved this place for my parents after we spent several days in the Lake McDonald and Many Glacier lodges. The location is great. Central Apgar with full access to west Glacier.
Management was efficient and easy to deal with and the property was amazing, clean, and a a great place for my parents to base out of to see the park despite being peak of the peak season.
If there’s one thing that could be improved it would be an upgraded breaker or some electrical work related to the clothes dryer circuit as it consistently pops after about 5-10 minutes but that’s nitpick stuff that didn’t detract at all from their amazing stay.
This place has top notch appliances and fixtures. The location is great as it is IN the park, which is very hard to find. There is a shop and restaurant downstairs and easy access to the lake. Going to the Sun Road is right around the corner. Great location, very modern and new inside. You also get a designated parking spot which are hard to come by in the park. Check in process involves talking to the manager of the restaurant downstairs, there is no lobby. Door had a key code and once she told us that it was easy.
We were delighted with this studio apartment for our stay inside Glacier National Park. Modern with all of the amenities you might want. You should be aware of two things - 1) you need a National Park pass to get in. 2) the apartment is a walk up (two flights of stairs). The manager was great and very responsive when we needed something. (Our only complaint was the delivery truck that was parked outside of our window at 5 am with the engine running for quite a long time. That was only one morning though.)
A late night we pulled up to the property address to find a gift shop with no messages or information. We called the contact numbers with no answer. There had been no information or instructions sent to me by mail or email. No communication. We had to drive an hour in the dark and got a hotel in Kalispell after midnight, a nightmare.
Pros: this unit is brand new. The location is optimal for everything you want to do inside west glacier. It’s beautiful, well stocked (they left us plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. They even had laundry detergent and dishwasher tabs), and is very quaint and comfortable. The AC was awesome. Shower is very large and handicap accessible. (Though I’m not sure there are elevators. There are 3 flights of stairs you have to climb to get to this unit.)
Cons:
-the area is under construction. I had to spend my entire day listening to them pound on the side of the building while I worked.
-the staff has dogs that they tie up by the stairs you have to climb to get into the building and they bark. All. The. Time.
-the dryer doesn’t work well. Every 2 minutes it trips a breaker. (Which the manager was very much aware of the problem and showed us the housekeeper’s washer and dryer.) they tried to fix it toward the end of our stay but we were gone on hikes both days and they couldn’t fix it.
-location. I know I said the location was optimal. However, if you leave and come back between the popular hours, it takes a solid 30 minutes to get back inside the park bc of the people trying to get in. You’re also located directly above Eddie’s (right in the heart of all the camp stores) and it is very busy.
Over all this place was lovely. We enjoyed our stay. I do wish that they’d told us some check out instructions though. We weren’t able to find the dumpster at 5am
