Amazing stay!

Great beach house!!

This was a great place to stay! Close to the beach to walk, spacious home equipped with everything you need! It was great to spend a day at the beach and then get in the pool! We had a couple of small issues but were addressed right away! Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to start our new family tradition. The place was nice and the owner was exceptionally responsive when something was needed. House was well appointed, close to the beach and grocery store and the prey gathering place for the family!

Family and Friends at the Beach!

This was a great property and location for our group. Only a block from the beach, and walking distance to grocery and restaurants. Pool area was a great place to hang out after the beach. Would recommend this property. We had a great week.

Great place to stay!

Home was as advertised. Clean. Great views of the ocean. We swam everyday in the pool. Lots of family time around the pool at night. Beach was very close. Owners were very responsive and friendly. Will definitely stay again.

Great House - Awesome Location

We have been vacationing in MB since 1990. This was the best layout house for our family. Large kitchen, table large enough for all to eat together (8), large family room with good seating, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on top level. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and laundry on 2nd level. Double carport and pool on bottom level. Very short walk to beach, no golf cart needed. If you make meals for a family, we suggest you take your own knife set, a decent egg pan, an electric skillet and a spatula. Pool and pool area are great. Good times had by our family here. Owner/manager are good to talk with. We will be back!

Nice setup, great location. But for price elevator should be working especially if advertised. Carrying big bags of luggage up and down all those stairs was not okay. Wouldn't recommend if you have a lot of luggage. Also the T.V in kids room and game room did not work. Whirlpool needs updating.

Beautiful Pool-great location-cleaning issues.

Location and size was great to spend our wedding week in Cherry Grove with our family of 9. Pool area was a great place to hang out in the evening and the owner’s allowing us the use of the their golf cart at a reduced rate was a big plus and appreciated! I would suggest re-evaluating the cleaning service being used. The floors were so dirty when we arrived and one of the bedspreads had melted taffy on it and the sheets had actual dirt on them. There was a good bit of dust on some of the furniture as well. There is also some maintenance issues that should be addressed such as the broken cabinets and rusted crusty island sink.

Cherry Grove Family Vacation

Location s excellent but the house has several defects that should be addressed. The elevator was not advertised but it did not work. The heater for the pool hot tub did not work. The mattresses on all the beds should be replaced and one of the bunk beds only had a box spring without a mattress. Soffit boxing around the house has missing panels. Nails are backing out and raised on the exterior upper-level decks. Several window blinds have broken slats. Overall, for the price, it needs upgrades.

Cherry Grove House

The renting process was fine. The property itself was in a good location but everything was old and kind of worn out. The dishwasher barely worked and the freezer kept leaking. The internet was also out the entire time we were there. I called the property owner to let him know the first day we got there, and he basically said he couldn’t help us. We did break a table (which I informed him via message that it was broken and would be happy to deal with it). He kept the entire deposit. In summary, the house was fine because it was mostly young kids, but I would not recommend it if you are looking for somewhere nice.

Nice property but a few flaws

The house was the perfect set-up for what our family needed. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with all needed items. The elevator is not in service and has been down for some time. It is listed in the listing but the owners did not notify us ahead of time. We had a family member with a prosthetic leg so this was a real let down. That needs to be removed from listing so others are not surprised. The wifi is not strong which makes watching TV really difficult. There is no cable just streaming services. As we were there for Thanksgiving we wanted to watch football. We were able to make it work with a combo of mobile hotspots and a laptop. The beds are older and make a ton of noise when you are getting in and out. The location was great. We had a wonderful view of the ocean and there is a great grocery store and ice cream stand just 3 blocks down. The house is very spacious with ample seating.

Property was not cleaned when we arrived. They cleaned a two story house, 5 bed rooms and 6 baths, in less than one hour. The pool was dirty and the area very unkept. Cigarette but were laying around the pool area. Pool Furniture was dirty. We had the wrong linens for king bed. Would never come back.

We are a family of 6 from the suburbs of Washington DC. We love to travel to the beach together every summer with our 2 dogs Tikko and Cocoa which is why our home is pet friendly. We spent many summers in Myrtle beach and all our boys learned to boogie board there. This is our second home purchase in North Myrtle Beach and we hope to retire there one day.

Why they chose this property

We choose this home because it is so close to the beach just a quick 2 minute walk and you're there! There are no high rise condos ocean front on our beach so its not crowded even during the peak of the summer rental season.
It's located on a quite street with a palm tree lined yard walking distance to the Cherry Grove Pier, grocery store and many other ammenities.

What makes this property unique

Short walk to the beach and beautiful ocean views from the front porch and the windows in the great room. Walking distance of the grocery store and many other shops. Restaurants and local attractions are close by. Our home is located on a street with beach access and public parking lot 1 block away. Our driveway and carports have enough parking for 6 vehicles. We like to to be pampered when we go on vacation so we have equipped our home with top quality mattresses and bed linens. Our home is minutes from Starbucks, local restaurants, attractions, boat ramps,fishing, and more golf and mini golf courses than you can count!
