Don't stay here. I asked for a refund.

When we arrived at the house the location looked like it was great. And I will say it was good. However, from there it went down hill. Immediately after we got into the house we happened to see an laminated paper with instructions to watch out for rat/mouse poison around the house if we have kids. We have a dog that was running around the house up until this point. Needless to say we were freaking out that she had eaten some. After contacting someone we were informed that it was an old sign. This should have been removed LONG ago. The house was not clean. The floors were not vacuumed or swept, spider and cobwebs all over the place and super dusty. The floors aren't even actually floors. Its basically painted plywood for flooring. The table was not cleaned with some sort of sticky jelly on it. Around the toilets was not cleaned. We did not feel comfortable even walking around the house with our shoes off. And the main living room heater did not work. It looked like a wire was broken. The fire alarm was not working and was chirping when we came into the house. There was no vent above the cook top. We had to open the doors while we cooked. Apparently it is some sort of management company that takes care of things so we had to have them act as a go between with the owner. After the stay I contacted them to ask for a partial refund. It was very suspect when they said not to leave a review until it was processed. Im leaving one anyway. People need to know. Don't Stay here.

Roomy cabin in the woods

Easy check in; rustic cabin with interesting spiral staircase: property managers very responsive and let us check in a couple hours early. I didn’t want to say this but feel compelled - it needs a little deeper cleaning in my opinion but was certainly acceptable for a cabin

Family Fun

We enjoyed our stay, but it would have been better if the deck wasn't blocked off and we were able to use the ping pong table. The telescope was broken making it a little disappointing to not be able to look at all the stars. Also, the fishing was terrible. A woman said that the river hasn't been stocked in a while and won't be any time soon. But we were able to still have fun through it all.
