The Lodge at Tartan Acres Alpacas is waiting for you. Comfortable, peaceful, and welcoming, this circa 1900 rural farmhouse has been restored and enlarged creating your home away from home. A short walk up the ramp leads to the front door and enters into the open-beamed and comfortably appointed living room. Here you are welcome to snuggle under a blanket in front of the gas fireplace and choose your entertainment from the smart TV, CD, or DVD player. A brand new kitchen is fully functional for cooking and baking. The 1st floor bedroom (king) is adjacent to a large handicap ADA/accessible bath. Two bedrooms (queen/twin), a half bath and a shower room are located on the 2nd floor. The gameroom on the 3rd level is loaded with games and DVD’s, (DVD-playing TV). Enjoy the spectacular views from the front porch or relax on the back deck. A Quick search for nearby restaurants will include American, Middle Eastern, SE Asian and Italian. If cooking is your thing, the local grocer is 10 minutes away. This awesome vacation home coexists with 40 alpacas located across the road where interested parties can pre-book a tour and learn all about raising fluffy livestock and/or visit our shop. Thinking of starting your own hobby farm? We will deduct a portion of your fee from a purchase of our livestock. Too many people in your party? Located just 25 minutes south of Syracuse.

No animals for allergy reasons. No additional overnight guests allowed on the property except college age child of visiting family. This is not a party house, contact us if you have a limited number of family or friends you would like to entertain for a short time during your stay.
Outdoor music not allowed between 10 PM and 10 AM. Music/TV should not be loud enough to be heard by neighbors.
One guest has carved a name into a piece of our vintage furniture. We have thoughtfully furnished this home to reflect its country farmhouse style. If you wish to carve furniture, please stay at a hotel.
