These villas are the most luxurious golf villas available inside the Resort, plus they have a superb location, next door to the resort golf clubhouse. Our Villa at Rio Mar Village is a private property located within the 481 acres facilities of the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort, Spa & Casino, one of the most beautiful resorts in the island.
Three bedroom villa. Each with private bathroom. Accommodates 6 people comfortably. The property is fully furnished, integrated with security system and has two central A/C, telephone, internet, two TV's with DVD player and cable TV. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet with a huge private bathroom, and an exit to the terrace. The terrace views the Golf course and Rain Forest and it is furnished as well.

The kitchen is fully equipped with new microwave, convection oven, refrigerator and freezer, and pots and pans.

Wonderful stay

We came with our young adult daughters and had a wonderful stay. The villa was beautiful and the views and locations was amazing. Having access to the 2 golf carts was key because the villa is a ways from the main resort bit totally worth it. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay

We loved this property so much! The most spacious condo I’ve stayed in, the master suite was huge, and the other two bedrooms were a great size as well. The deck was beautiful and the perfect place for coffee in the morning. The condo was very clean and well stocked, with lots of supplies for the beach, which my kids were excited about. We loved that we could walk to the nearby pool, and having the two golf carts to get to the beach (about a 5 minute ride -another hit for the kids) was so convenient. The beach is gorgeous and it felt like we had the place to ourselves! We could have used a map of the grounds to better find our way around, but we figured it out after some exploring! I would absolutely come back! (and hope to!) Not only was this condo only 35 minutes from the airport, it was the perfect central location for exploring El Yunque, Old San Juan and Fajardo. And lastly the host so quick to respond with any questions, and very accommodating in letting us check out late the last day, I really appreciated it! Book here for sure!!

Rio Grande Trip

The home was lovely. Plenty of room to spread out and all the comforts of home. Having the golf carts was a necessity to move around the property and dine at the restaurants. The check in instructions were very detailed and Irma and Jorge were quick to respond to any questions. Would love to stay again soon!

Celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with family

we are a family of 7 adults and this house was so central to our daily excursions. Able to diversify and visit OSJ, Yunque, Carabali, and Escambron snorkeling with turtles. Glad for using 2 rental cars and able to enjoy nearby fabulous restaurants. The resort beach offered beautiful views, 2 golf carts, swimming pool for an evening cooldown. Loved the Coquis each evening!

Excellent!

We love staying at Rio Mar and this place was wonderful. There were six of us and we had ample bed/bathrooms and space in general, plus the two golf carts were perfect. Communication was great. Check in was easy. The area was peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay with family.

Loved the location and all the amenities the resort offered. Only disappointment was that one of the gulf carts was under maintenance the entire time we were there. We make two trips so that we wouldn’t use the car.

Great Villa with Resort Privileges

Very spacious unit in a very quiet complex. Use of golf carts made trips to the resort and beach convenient. Well stocked kitchen and the entire place was extremely clean. Great for families and friends groups.

Not quite what the listing promises, but a nice and very spacious villa

The reason for a 3 star rating with 1 star on owner communication was related to the fact that one of the golf carts was broken during our entire visit, which is - primary feature called out of the listing title - “2 golf carts.” For a family that won’t fit on a single cart, having 2 carts was a major selling point. When I shared this with the owner at the end of the visit, and suggested an appropriate portion of the rental be refunded, I was ghosted and did not receive a response. In addition, the resort/hotel is not crazy about short term renters of the villas using their amenities. We were never turned away, but at times we were made to feel we were not really supposed to be there. The villa itself is beautiful and the hosts were very responsive through our 5 day stay when we requested extra linens or had questions. They were fast, helpful, and courteous. I was surprised by the way the visit ended with the owners not responding to me at all.

Family vacation 2024

Everything was great, the only thing that needed improvement was the housekeeping. The sheets looked a little dingy and the glasses need to be replaced because they looked dirty. If I had to stay here again, I would definitely go back. The villa was beautiful!

Perfect for a 3-generation family trip

We really enjoyed staying here. There were 7 of us and there was ample space for everyone. It was good to have a full bathroom for each bedroom, especially after a beach day, so everyone can shower. I recommend you take an inventory of what’s there before going out to buy stuff at the supermarket - there were condiments, laundry detergent, sunscreen, etc., some of which, we bought not knowing it was conveniently there already. The property owners were communicative and friendly. We spent our nights on the terrace playing cards and spent time at the large table enjoying meals together. The place was clean and tidy. We would definitely stay there again.

Puerto Rican Villa

My family (3 adult couples) stayed at the Villa. The accommodations were beautiful and very clean and well appointed. There were plenty of towels and the kitchen had nice, sharp knives (something that we don't usually see!) Having 2 golf carts made it easy to go to the beach and the Rio Mar resort restaurants. The pool was just a few steps away and very quiet. Although we did not have children with us, there was a nice playground area for them. The villa also was accommodating for kids with high chairs supplied. Irma, our host, sent all the pertinent information and was available for any questions that we had. Thank you! We would highly recommend staying here.

Great place - good location

30 minutes from the airport, Fajardo and most rain forest activities, this villa has a lot to offer. Located near the Wyndham Rio Mar resort, you can do or get to almost everything PR has to offer. Great choices in food within 10 minutes, golf, beaches and relaxing, we loved our stay. The host is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Five stars all the way

Wonderful villa for family vacation!

This is a great property for a family vacation in Rio Grande. Well located on golf course, with easy access to close pool and playground. Ride golf carts ( all part if the fun) to nearby included beach club with chairs, pool, restroom and food truck. Apartment clean and spacious. Comfortable beds. Owners lovely and responsive. Equipped with beach toys and beach towels. We would highly recommend. A car is needed for restaurants and groceries but you can ride golf carts to hotel ( wyndham rio grande) for restaurants etc. Many fun activities in area…. Rainforest, cocoa farm, coffee farm etc.

Great choice near activities

We loved the outdoor porch area. Golf carts were great to ride around in and go down to park area and pools. Very clean with extra things that we needed all ready there. I don’t even know what I could say to improve our stay it was excellent. Many Thanks to Jorge and Irma.

Lovely Villa at the Wyndham Rio Mar Golf Resort & Casino property

Nice location convenient to El Yunque National Forest. Only 30 min to Old San Juan by car, we enjoyed the beautiful views and lovely resort. A quick ride by golf cart found us at the beautiful beach. Plenty of area restaurants, highly recommend Richie’s, El Yunque Treehouse, Rico Pan, Las Picuas and Cafe at the Visitors Center. Very spacious villa, very clean and equipped with everything to make our stay comfortable. Excellent communication with owner. Highly recommend. 5⭐️

Nice Villa

Overall this is a suitable villa for a family vacation. Pros: -The 2 golf carts included were an amazing plus. - very close to a really nice pool (and kiddie pool) -very close to a nice playground. -pool noodles, tubes, floatie vests for kids, beach toys, beach chairs and umbrellas are available -lots of bath and beach towels. Cons: -there were a few light bulbs that needed changing. -the oven did not work -the tubs in both guest bathrooms drained very slowly, so water accumulated during showers. -there are HVAC systems are they are both very loud. -there is no cutting board. -wifi was choppy

Great villa

The Villa was in a great location, clean and plenty of space for 5 people. The 3 bedroom, each with a bathroom, was fantastic. In addition , the 2 golf carts allowed us to travel back and forth to the resort when we wanted to.

Excellent Casita in the PERFECT Location

We had such a great trip. This was our first time to Puerto Rico and we think this location was perfect. The property is beautiful and the gold carts are super handy for going down to the resort and beach. I brought my whole family including my adult children and the house the just right for the 6 of us. The property manager was so responsive and helpful. The property is clean and well stocked with anything you’ll need. I left some calamine lotion for the next group. Beware the sand flies that come out at dusk are buggers. I was eaten alive my first night so bug repellant is mandatory. We lived our stay and we will definitely be back!

Best family vacation!

We had an amazing week at the villa. The villa was clean and well stocked and the two golf carts were perfect for us and our adult children. The villa beach area was our favorite, plenty of sun and shade for those who want to stay out of sun. A rental car is a must for activities outside of resort, El Yunque, bio bay, Luquillo. Also, Rico pan and las Picuas at bottom of hill from resort were amazing, highly recommend!! All in all, we were so pleased with our stay and can’t wait to come back!
