Your group can be together but doing the separate activities that they enjoy. Everyone can meet up by foot for a hike, picnic, or swim in the river. One has a Queen bed and a fold away twin bed. The second bedroom has a Queen on the bottom bunk bed.

The house was very clean, well kept, and in a quiet location. We love hiking in the Ohiopyle area and the location was perfect with only a short walk to the trails and visitor center. We are already planning our return.
I was in Ohioplye with my dog for a weekend of outdoor fun! Lots to do without driving, just walk out the front door. House was exactly as advertised, super clean and comfortable beds. We will definitely be back next year! Thanks to Erin for sharing her home with us!
We had a great two night stay at Erin's. The location is perfect -- close to everything, but on a quiet street near the woods. We enjoyed having coffee and breakfast on the porch each morning, and our dogs loved the large yard. We plan to go back for a longer visit next year!
Perfect description listed! The house was within short walking distance of everything. The house was large and very clean. The yard was great for our dogs! Loved our trip!
We loved our mid-May stay at Heart of Ohiopyle! The water was high but the river wasn't crowded, shops and restaurants were open, nights were cool and we could sleep with the windows open. The two bedrooms were big and we really appreciated the two covered porches for hanging out (and hanging out wet gear!). Even had a fire in the fire pit. Can't wait to come back!
My friend and I were supposed to camp at Ohiopyle for 4 nights but after a day and night of driving rain we surrendered and looked for a nearby place. This house was perfect and when I told the owner our situation she let us in just a little early so we could dry out. The location and accommodations were perfect and we truly appreciated it!
I would highly recommend this place. It was super clean and quaint at the end of a quiet street and against the woods. Erin reached out at noon on day of check-in to notify us the place was clean and ready for us to arrive at any time. We checked in almost 4 hours early. It's far enough away from the crowd, but still close enough to walk anywhere within the town. I would definitely recommend this place.

A perfect location for a visit to Ohiopyle. Me my wife and daughter stayed here to visit nearby relatives and to do a bike and river rafting trip. Walk to everything!
The house was in a convenient location to experiencing the beauty of the area. You can walk or bike to town, the GAP trail, and the river. It was very quiet at the end of the street. It is clean and comfortable. Host was great! Thank you for the stay.
We loved this place, from the retro vibe decor, cleanliness, and the location was perfect for our family, dead end street, close to town, large yard so the kids and dog could play, each day a deer came thru the yard and stopped to nibble on the clover. Erin the host was great to work with:)
We had a lovely stay at the house. It is as advertised, homey and very clean. The house had everything we needed and there were no problems at all. Erin checked communicated everything we needed to know and was immediately responsive when I had a question about locking up. It was unseasonably cold when we visited and the heat was on for us when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable and the space was easy to be in. I would rent this house again if we return to the area for more outdoor adventures. If you want to be in Ohiopyle, it was perfect!
The town of OhioPyle is near and dear to us and as returning guests this house as become a perfect part of our annual trip. Feels like coming home after a fun day with family. Thankful to have a comfy clean space to go back to at the end of the day and Erin is the best!

Great spot
This place was perfect for us. All of the restaurants and activities are just a short walk away. The house sits on the end of the last street at the corner of Ohiopyle. We had a nice peaceful evening fire in a really great spot. The inside of the house was quaint and delightful. I'll be staying here again in the future.
The pictures don’t do justice to how adorable the Heart of Ohiopyle is! The perfect rustic mountain cabin - with updated modern amenities! Location was great home base for all of our activities - super convenient to trails, river and town. We loved relaxing on the porches and in the yard - lots of room for cornhole! Very peaceful at the top of the hill. A great vacation spot in Ohiopyle!
I was impressed there was not a TV in the house. This area is a travel destination specifically for its outdoor adventures. Having two toddlers in the house it was great that we did not even have to have the screen time argument.
My husband and I found the house to be comfortable, clean, and well stocked with dishes and utensils. We could walk into Ohiopyle State Park, and downtown shopping and restaurants. Sights such as Fallingwater were a short drive away. The only features we were not aware of before we got there were the fact that the property was for sale, and that the house was at a dead end with no turn around options. Some renters might find backing out two blocks difficult. I would recommended this property to others without mobility issues.
Communication with host was very good. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen well equipped with major appliances, coffee maker pots, pans, dishes, cups etc. Good laundry facilities. The side porch made a quiet sitting area overlooking this quaint little town. Local businesses within walking distance, between 3 and 7 blocks away. The only thing I would change is to bring my own showering soap and shampoo, as I had forgotten these items weren't provided. Overall a good stay in Ohiopyle.
Was looking for a quiet little town this fall break to socially distance near trails, fishing, waterfalls - cozy with a firepit.....Erin’s little place In Ohiopyle did not disappoint!
The house is 2 bedrooms up and bath, kitchen, living area down. Extra toilet in laundry room. Wifi is good, no tv so gather around the fab firepit for s’mores, back porch sunset with cheese plate and the neighborhood cat, or kitchen table for cards. There’s a basketball goal and a trampoline (we did not try out). Kitchen is pretty well stocked - rental quality knives, pots and pans. Previous folks left coffee filters and there were some spices/sugar (thanks - we forgot and there is no grocery or gas in Ohiopyle). Reviewers mentioned the wine/cocktail glass shortage - we found tumblers at the Yogi Bear Campground store of all places...and gifted them for future wine/scotch drinkers. It’s just not right out of a pint glass! Also left s’more forks for the firepit.
Get groceries/gas before you get to town. We found paper towels at Falls Market but not TP. Got s’mores fixings at the local veggie market at the corner of Lincoln/Sherman....great homemade blackberry jelly too. Best price on firewood was up the road toward Fallingwater - dry splits divided into ricks - honor box so bring the $5 increments.
Little was open midweek in terms of food - Friday looked like Paddlers Pizza and Ohiopyle Sandwich & Bakery finally opened but Mon-Thurs only thing going was the Falls Market for piled-heavy sandwiches and hand cut fries(beef sammies awesome!). Not sure if COVID regs or October kept everything shuttered. Eyeballed outdoor wings/beer at House Cafe and coffee/breakfast sammies at Bittersweet Cafe but they never opened. Easy walk down to bridges/park for morning stroll and to trails for access to river fishing. Seven minute drive to two Frank Lloyd Wright Houses - Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob - both worth a visit. Highly recommend Lower Yough rafting even in October. Loved the folks at Laurel Highland Outfitters. We were also only an hour from the Flight 93 Memorial which was in the middle of covered bridge/Pennsylvania Dutch barn country - Somerset County. Found guide maps at tourist center and ate dinner at Helen’s restaurant in an old log lodge at the Seven Springs Ski Resort. Hiked the Meadow Run loop Just west of town - beautiful cascade and natural rock slides. What a great getaway - highly recommended!

We are traveling Worldschoolers. We have traveled the world but there is something special about this little town. The mountains and river here are always pull us back no matter how far away we roam. I met my husband here when we were both river guides in our early 20's. We love this home!!!
Why they chose this property
Only about 10 rental homes within the Ohiopyle Borough limits. This one has the most privacy and an awesome outdoor fire pit. Charming, quite, and comfortable.
