The pictures match the property very well. House was clean stocked with everything that you would need for a family. There was good fishing on the lake.
This house works out great for us. We love the feel of being in the country and yet close to the things we want to do. Our favorite thing to do is sit on the deck in the morning and evening. The house is well stocked and had everything we needed.
This property is all about the lake front location. Very relaxing to sit on the deck and watch the geese/ducks/turtles. House is well stocked and is suited for 2 families, with living areas and bathrooms on the main and lower levels. A great location for relaxation.
A lot of room in the house for several people. Everything worked as it should. Kids loved the basement, with walkout to pond. Very nice sitting on the deck, so peaceful.
We had a wonderful time! Kids had basement for sleeping and bathroom which was a plus! Plenty of room, well stocked kitchen for cooking! Great place for family gatherings! We’d definitely stay again👍
Friends and family were impressed with the rental and our Treatment we received from Heidi. One person from the area asked for information to be able to help others that come to the area.
We rented this house so we could be together as a family for our sons graduation from SIUE. Very relaxing, we hosted dinner after graduation and everyone could spread out and be comfortable. The house is 20 minutes from edwardsville/campus with plenty of room for three grown children, their significant others, and close family to visit and have dinner. Will definitely stay again
This house was perfect for our family both inside and out. Enough room for everyone to sleep without crowding teens and we really enjoyed being able to get out and lounge/fish every single day. The guard ducks were absolutely amazing and so much fun! Having dishes and towels available was very nice as that's not typically something you carry. The property manager is super nice and I'll Definitely look this place up again when we return.

Girls week-end
this was a week-end girls get away.It was perfect.Very nice view and lots of room.Heidi was very helpful about arranageing everything. I would reccomend this property to anyone that just wants to relax and hang out. also close to downtown St. Louis. Thanks so much for letting us stay at your place. Sarah Allen
This house is located in an upper scale neighborhood, nestled in trees on a small lake. The house is much older, but very clean. The only thing they could improve on is the queen beds squeak badly every time you move. We went in to St Louis both days and enjoyed a Cardinal game and Grant’s Farm. We would stay again.
Loved this house! We came to the St. Louis area to visit Grant’s Farm and the Missouri Botanical Gardens. The house is located in a quiet area with a gorgeous lake view. We spent many hours on the deck overlooking the lake. The house was perfect for my 85 year old mother and her walker. We enjoyed the kitchen table to spend family time, but the young adults could also spend time watching TV and playing cards downstairs without disturbing grandma. It was a very short drive into the city.
Property prettyuch as advertised. The basement was cool with an outside temperature in the mid to upper eighties. First floor was warm however but every room has a ceiling fan. Fishing off the dock was great. Can catch small bass, big crappie, and of course large sunfish. I would recommend it to anyone that loves the country and likes to fish.
We enjoyed this rental. It fit the needs of the five of us. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the well stocked kitchen. This older house is located in a really nice development. The house was clean and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck with our morning coffee. The water view was very calming. We are country people so the frogs and bug noise did not bother us. The house was close enough for us to easily get to and from the racetrack. It worked well for us and we would rent here again.
The house was plenty big enough for all 11 of us. The pond was great. There wasn't much yard space for the kids to play ball etc. as the ball would roll toward the pond. The mattresses could use an upgrade. Also the trash is to be taken out but there wasn't enough trash bags.
The pics for this property on the site don’t do it justice. I fell in love with this property the moment that we walked in. The only downside is that the showers weren’t functional so we had to take baths which was a task when trying to bathe several kids and adults.
The property manager was extremely helpful and inviting. I loved the wildlife and attentiveness of the lady on the grounds that made sure we had what we needed and brought us fire wood in her golf cart. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing an escape from the fast pace city life. I can’t wait to stay here again soon.

Stayed here rather than St Louis for a wedding in Forest Park
I reserved this originally when I planned to drive and bring my dog along. Plans changed when I flew and didn't have the dog. In the end I was glad we stayed here rather than the hotel in downtown STL. Other family members who visited us liked the place and were envious. They preferred it to the downtown hotel where they were staying.
There were 6 of us so we also used the downstairs. Nice that there was some privacy. We didn't do much cooking except for breakfast. Did some shopping before we got there and found some of the items we bought were already there. There were eggs in an outdated carton and later wondered if they were fresh eggs from the visiting chickens. Plenty of room at table and bar for all of us to get together. House was clean and had all the supplies we needed.
Loved the area and the morning visits from the chickens, guinea hens and 2 friendly cats. Nice view across the small lake seeing cows, horses and a large pig. Rural area but close enough to town and shopping.
I reserved this for myself, children and grown grandchildren. Everyone was pleased and thought I had done well choosing it. If in the area I would certainly stay here again.

We have been staying at Heidi's for a weekend in the summer several years. She is promptly there to answer any questions or concerns. The deck with lake view a great place to hang out for the day. Always up dating and new bedding for rental. Thanks Heidi.
Everyone loved it. Our grandson is insisting we stay here every year.

Location nice for family gatherings.
The location was great for family gatherings. This place has a ant problem. We had 2 dozen donuts and a loaf of bread on the counter and had to toss them out. The first morning we got up to eat the donuts and ants all over them. The kids were very upset. Then we noticed that there was ant traps inside and outside the house. We mentioned to the owner she acted like it was a new problem. “ Quote: (“Thank you. I hope you enjoyed your stay and have a safe trip home. I really appreciate the info about the ants I will be able to have it treated before anyone else arrives. That really helps. “. )Before you book, make sure the ants are taken care of.
