Nice historic home
My friends and I enjoyed staying in this historic home for a long weekend in October. The house is spacious with a unique charm. The neighborhood was beautiful and within walking distance of many shops and restaurants.

Super Location
This is a lovely old home in a great location. Walking distance to Fenway Park, to many great restaurants, to a grocery store and to the subway. Bedrooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. Many thanks to the host

Great location!
This is an historic home, in which the VRBO is the majority of the upstairs. It has its own entry and parking. Updated kitchen and filled with antiques. Hostess is super sweet and communicates very well. Home is within walking distance of Trader Joe’s, Starbucks, and the T. Jewish district, so can’t beat the morning bagels! Great place!

Beautiful and peaceful
The location in Coolidge Corner is excellent and the neighborhood is quiet. My husband had surgery and we stayed at the house for his time after surgery. It was beautiful and peaceful.

Laver Cup
We were in Boston to attend the Laver Cup at Boston Garden and this house was perfectly located - close to the T and also in close walking distance to many great restaurants. It was a great size for our group, spacious and comfortable and in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Great stay!

Very quaint house
This is a very quaint house with interesting architecture. It’s a little different from other Vrbo houses in that the owners live there since it’s not an investment house. That shouldn’t stop you from staying here though. The owner was GREAT and easy to work with. Would def recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful home
Our vacation in Boston was thoroughly enhanced by staying in this home. The location was perfect for our visits to Fenway Park. There are great restaurants and pubs in the area as well. We also enjoyed walking through the neighbourhood. The house itself is beautiful, filled with eclectic furniture with more than enough space for our group of 5. The bedrooms were large and beds comfortable. We enjoyed leisurely mornings in the spacious kitchen watching birds in the window feeder. Our host, Susan was most welcoming meeting us upon arrival and giving us a tour of our home away from home. I would book this home again if available upon our next visit to Boston. Tammy Mulrooney

Location was good!
Checkin and communication was great! We used this property as a place to stay near Fenway Park. Location was good. Lots of nice restaurants and coffee shops close by. We are used to staying at 4+ star hotels. This rental feels like you are staying at your aunt or grandma’s home. Thanks, great stay!

Great communication and the place was exactly as described
The place was perfect for our needs, lots of space and within walking distance to a grocery store and restaurants. It definitely has a lived in feel, which we enjoyed. My one hesitation for those considering renting the place is that the shower is probably going to be too small for people who are very large.

Very nice home, great location, great neighborhood!
Home was very clean and within walking distance to Fenway Park. Felt very safe walking along beacon street after the games. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby too! Susan was very helpful and was a terrific host!

Very charming house, within walking distance to the Greenline, bars, & restaurants.
Susan's house is very charming, and original. The house is spacious, with a large kitchen to hang out in, as a family. It is close to the greenline which takes you into downtown Boston, and it is only a few miles to Fenway Park, which was a great walk. The house is close to many restaurants and bars. We had a great time!

Beautiful, well located apartment
We had a great stay. The location is fantastic -- a block and a half from Coolidge Corner (where there is a T line, restaurants, movie theater, groceries, etc) but on a quiet side street so noise is minimal and kids can walk around safely. There are several parks nearby -- the nearest is about two blocks away (though kids need to cross a Pleasant St, which is modestly busy, to get there). Easy walking / biking / public transit to tons of stuff (BU, Kenmore square, fenway park, longwood area, MFA, ...). The apartment is big -- 3 nice bedrooms, a comfortable kitchen with its own table, a big dining room, living room and a separate TV/sitting area. It is nicely furnished with some especially beautiful wood pieces in the living room, dining room and master. It's a second-floor apartment with windows on all four sides of the building, so it gets tons of light all day. It has parking, which is hard to come by in Brookline. The apartment was very clean. The linens and towels were nice -- definitely above hotel-grade. The kitchen was fully equipped. Two downsides: - The laundry is a bit hard to use (down a narrow staircase in an unfinished basement). - For longer term stays, there is not enough available storage. The owner cleared out a fair amount of space for us (some hanging space in two closets, some drawers in a dresser, stands for suitcases). This would have been plenty had we been there for only a few days, but we were there for several weeks and found ourselves constantly tiptoeing around the owner's personal belongings. This probably will not be an issue for other guests, since most people will probably stay for less time. Also, we were the first renters -- the owner will probably iron out the kinks over time. The owner was very responded quickly and helpfully to all our questions. Overall, a great stay. Area highlights: - Dorado (restaurant with awesome fish tacos) - When Pigs Fly (bakery) - Peet's (coffee) - Cafe Fixe (coffee) - Rami's (falafel) - FuGaKyu (japanese, on the expensive side) - Union Square Donuts - Tatte (patisserie) - Coolidge Corner public library (one block away!)

Wonderful Stay! Location Could not have been better!
My 3 & 5 year olds instantly fell in love with this "pink house". We loved how spacious it was and its central location. Just 2 blocks from coffee shops, restaurants, pharmacy, you name it. Centrally located for public transportation, it did the trick. The unit was spacious and we appreciated the eat in kitchen along with the roomy dining room. The bedrooms came with A/C window units (which we used), and all rooms had overhead fans. Parking on site also made this location perfect for our needs. Susan was a pleasure to work with. Instructions were easy, and everything was explained well. thanks for a great stay!

I practice law in the Boston area, serving small business clients as their real estate and general counsel. In addition to serving on several nonprofit education and library boards, I'm active in my town's governance and serve on town committees involving real estate development. I love music and am a huge Boston sports fan. Between work, spending time with my kids, and going out with friends, I'm pretty busy, and love being so.

Why they chose this property

This home has been in our family for more than 60 years. It is large and lovely, in a special area so close to Boston, yet in a neighborhood all its own. Coolidge Corner is among the most desirable places in all of Massachusetts to live in, and our house is smack... dab, right there. The location can't be beat.

What makes this property unique

Beside our home's terrific location, the house features a large and comfortable kitchen with TV, 3 large bedrooms with queen sized beds in each (one of which has the bed in the adjoining sunporch), an art deco bathroom, and a TV viewing foyer. It is the top floor unit of a two-family condominium, and is our permanent home. Other family lives in the first floor unit below. We are renting our unit out during the times that we'll be away.
