It was the perfect place to stay for a girls trip. Very clean and well stocked. Plenty of beds, lots of room to relax and hang out. Loved being able to see the northern lights out on the back deck. Appreciated being able to communicate with the owner if needed.
Property is close enough to the restaurants and shops of Fairbanks that most things are less than 10 minutes away.
Lake had boats and jetskis, so definitely being used, but it's primary purpose for us was to have a beautiful view out the family room and main bedroom windows
While there are enough house around the lake that there are darker places to watch the Northern Lights, it is pretty hard to beat just looking out your window until you can see them, and then going out on the deck to enjoy them.
While we were there at the very beginning of Aurora season (very late August), and it was cloudy most nights, we still had one night that the clouds broke enough that we got to enjoy them from the back deck.
Bedrooms are comfortable, with large smart TVs in the rooms. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment and basics, so you don't have to waste time shipping for spices and such.
