About this property
Charming Mid-Century Apartment in Midtown
This newly-renovated one-bedroom efficiency is spacious with good light thanks to the new skylights. It is clean and homey without the sterility of generic crash pads. This is an excellent place to unwind, regroup, or work.
You’ll be located 8-12 minutes from downtown as well as all areas of midtown. (Please reference the map for specific distance questions you may have.)
The space
This is the second story in my 1925 home which I spent 18 months renovating. The original second story addition where you'll be staying was done sometime in the 50s or 60s. During my renovation, I kept the vintage charm while completely re-insulating, repainting, reflooring, and adding a new high-efficiency HVAC system for total comfort year-round. I couldn't be happier with the space and I hope you are, too!!
The apartment is totally private and separate from the main house with its own exterior staircase, entrance, and HVAC system.
I use 100% cotton bedding and towels, washed in Eco-friendly detergent with no perfumes. The cleaning service also uses all-natural Eco-friendly products!
**The stairs are a bit narrow at one point, so please keep that in mind. This hasn't been a problem for anyone yet, but if you have mobility issues please contact me prior to booking.**
Stays longer than 28 days, also just drop me a line in advance!
And finally: please see "Other things to note" below for additional details--especially regarding the TV specifics.
Guest access
You'll have access to the second story apartment as described.
Other things to note
Guests must agree to follow CDC and social distancing guidelines while staying at this location.
General things to note:
The carpet and flooring are all new. If you will kindly leave your shoes by the front door, that will help ensure the apartment stays as clean as possible for future guests--especially important when there is inclement weather!
PLEASE NOTE: The TV has over-air channels, but not cable. You are welcome to connect your own device with the provided HDMI cable, or sign in to your streaming accounts with the provided ROKU.
Off-street parking is provided for 1 vehicle directly in front of the home. Other vehicles may use the street.
