Wonderful location!

The apartment is in the perfect location for your visit in Lisbon! Very large, clean with all you need. Property owner was quick to respond to any questions or needs we needed to make our stay more enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Lots of space, worn furniture, great location.

The location and size of this apartment are outstanding. It’s great that there’s an elevator, washer and separate dryer. But, the bed, couches and chairs were worn and soiled. The bathroom off the master bedroom always smelled, despite leaving the exhaust fan on continuously. And it is necessary to go to a separate location, not far away, to pick up the key. The owner is easy to communicate with. Plan to have to purchase laundry, paper towel, plastic bags, soap, etc. There was shampoo in little bottle. We operate a VRBO in Arizona and we have different standards. Perhaps our expectations were not appropriate for Lisbon. Thank you for hosting us.

Lots of room, did I mention the views.

A really nice pad, large enough to comfortably stretch out. Of course the location is in the the center of everything, And the reason you’re here are the and drop dead views of the river, and an over the rooftop view of the castle. Excellent responsive communications throughout the stay.

Lovely Lisbon

We had a fantastic city break in Lisbon staying in this beautiful apartment. It is as bright and airy as it looks in the photos with stunning floor to ceiling windows opening out to views across to the Castle or sea depending which way you looked. It is clean and spacious, the bed is very comfortable and the property has every amenity you could need. Paulo the host was easy to contact and quick to respond; replacing a faulty kitchen appliance within hours. I would recommend taking ear plugs, as mentioned in previous reviews. Not for any noise within the building, but you can’t have the convenience of being in a city centre without expecting to hear city life around you. The location really is very convenient for transport and sights and we hope to stay again in the future.

The apt. was centrally located, beautifully appointed, and accurately described. The manager arranged transportation from the port and to the airport(at 2 am no less). I would highly recommend this property!

Great views and huge apartment!

Good things first: the apartment is crazy huge! It was just my wife and myself and sometimes I had to yell to ask her where she was. The view is beautiful and the location (for the most part, see below) is very central to the sights. Mattress is awesome and the water pressure amazing. Having a second WC is also nice. A couple concerns: when checking in we were not met at apartment, but had to retrieve keys one-and-a-half blocks from apartment, from a safe, in a hallway, on the fourth floor of a building. We got to apartment and checked kitchen for needs at a grocery. Overwhelmed by the smell from the freezer which had been left to defrost. My wife emptied the drawers of water and wiped them out. We chatted Paulo who said they were waiting on a part to keep the freezer shut. This situation was not resolved during our four day stay although Paulo’s assistant did spray bleach into the freezer the next day. Then we tried to connect to Wi-Fi with no luck. Again chatted a few times with Paulo (he IS very responsive). Turns out a new router was needed and installed the next day. Also, my wife had to clean the washer before putting clothes in; it was rather disgusting. Finally, there’s a sports bar 3 floors below. If there’s a local futbol game on, close the shutters and turn the tv on loud. We use VRBO a lot in Europe and the States and realize there are some things beyond an owner’s control. Think they just need to pay a little more attention.

A very pleasant stay

A very pleasant stay for my partner and myself. We ooked for a weekend break, so didn't spend a great deal of time in. The location was great as it was surrounded by local amenities. Great communication communication with the property manager. 2 things I would suggest to the property manager; I would suggest updating both the shower as the getting hot water is a tricky process, but fine once you figure it out and also updating the living room sofas. Both would of been a bigger issue if staying longer, but for a weekend break I would highly recommend. On a whole a very pleasant stay for a reasonable price. Thank you for a lovely weekend. I would stay again.

Fabulous location. Large space. Nice river view

Our hosts were so very helpful with everything we needed or wanted. The apartment had everything we needed to be comfortable. We were quite content. The big windows all around brought in lots of light that invited us out to the full wraparound balcony. Nice feature. Only downside is the very loud bar on the third floor that goes into the wee hours. We were able to block out the noise with the windows shut and the air conditioner on. It wasn’t a knock out factor for us because of the penthouse floor and fabulous location.

This unit has it all! Amazing views, space, location and anything you need for a comfortable stay! Close to metro, shopping, and restaurants. We will be back and will stay here again, this was our favourite home base close to everything we needed!

Amazing view and beautiful location.

This was an incredible place to stay. The wrap around balcony and wide open access was perfect to view this vibrant city. Very nice accommodations and great king-size bed. Our host was excellent on communication and we had a smooth self-check in. I look forward to staying in the same place next time in Lisbon.

Light filled apartment

The very spacious light filled apartment is in an excellent location. It is within walking distance to many sights of Lisbon and the train station. Communication with the owner was easy and quick. Luis met us at the apartment and was so helpful, giving us names of restaurants, places to see, and even arranged our very early cab ride back to the airport. The building is very secure. There are 8 sets of balcony windows with wrap around balcony connecting them. The large living room has a huge leather couch that envelops you like a cocoon. We did not see on or use the pull out couch which could use new upholstery. The dining table is very large and useful. The dining chairs are not very comfortable...think fold up wooden slat chairs . The bed and bedding were very comfortable. We used the chairs here for our luggage. They could use new upholstery . The galley kitchen does lack prep space and could use a cutting board, bowls, and a pan larger than 1.5 qts. There were several large baking pans. It is the city center, so street noise is going to be there. Weekends there are people in the streets until 3-4 AM. Weekdays were quieter. The bedroom is set on the side of the building. There is a bar/ restaurant in the adjacent building on the first floor. Depending on the crowd, you can feel like they are right next to you. Trash pick up at 1AM and you definitely know they are there! If you want to be in the center, these are things you will have to deal with..

Great apartment, even greater location

The wrap around French doors with balconies afford spectacular views. Location is perfect. Uptown with easy access to downtown. Spacious apartment is as good as or better than represented.

Huge 1 bedroom with great location and view

My wife and I loved this apartment and location. We only used the one bed in the bedroom, but the living room was huge with lots of couches. Great location, just a few steps from a major metro location and within easy walking distance of most of the Lisbon attractions. Access to the apartment was easy, and felt secure. Balcony with view was stunning.

Incredible view and location

The apartment has a stunning view, is incredibly well located and spacious and bright. It’s perfect for a family or romantic getaway. It’s a bit noisy at night but worth it.

Great apartment in excellent location

This apartment was very large and had the most beautiful views of the river and castle. It was supplied with everything we needed. We especially loved having a washer and dryer which is unusual in Europe! We also had a king bed which is not the norm. Silvia with Chiado apartments was great to work with and helped supply what we needed. My only negative is that the furniture needs updating and the entrance to the building is dark and uninviting. It gives a terrible first impression until you enter the most wonderful views of Lisbon in the top floor apartment. Overall it was a great find once we were there.

Spacious and comfortable

We enjoyed our 4-night stay in the lovely Baixa apartment. It has beautiful light-filled rooms that are large and accommodating. Paulo and Andreia were always helpful and responsive to our questions. It was easy to get in touch with them. The apartment is in a great location providing easy access to everything in the old town of Lisbon. We would stay here again.
