Great host, great property. Steps to Beautiful beach, host is easy to work with and responsive. Super comfortable home with lots of beach things to use. Dogs and people had a wonderful stay!
Our family enjoyed our stay at this condo. Bedrooms are decent size. It’s nice that each bedroom has its own bath. The best stocked condo I’ve ever stayed at…. Anything you might forget, they got it! Pool is beach front which makes it perfect for sunsets. Overall amazing stay.
A few things I was not super excited about is the community is gated but the exit gate stayed open 24/7 although we still felt extremely safe staying there, condo is completely carpet except kitchen and bathrooms, and one over the bedrooms stay significantly warmer than the rest of the condo. Otherwise, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Great location to the beach just needs better cleaning and small updates
The neighborhood ia very well maintained and extremely easy walk to the pool or beach. We wantes tonuse the grill more but it was inoperative. Communication with the host had a new grill to us within 2 days.
Only complaints if you will was that the space was not very clean. We arrived to check in and the cleaning crew had just pulled in before us. They were in and out in 20 minutes. The floors were not well vacuumed, foyer was very sandy and dirty and the kitchen cabinets and counters were quite sticky as were the dining table and chairs (seemingly from wet towels being left on them?). Mats throughout house to cover bad carpet wear and dryer does not turn off well (it stops and starts on its on).
The kitchen was very well supplied, beds were cozy and space was great. Many beach chairs and items available. Outdoor shower was very nice for spraying off items. Carport is very tight for SUVs but had great cover. Overall great for cost but WAY overcharged for the cleaning we were given/not given.
My family and I had a great time staying at Port of Call. The property manager was very accommodating and gave lots of information about the rental and surrounding area. The amenities and extras provided were awesome. We really enjoyed making fires on the beach at night and looking at the stars. Thanks for everything!
We had a great time! The home was in the perfect location, had great amenities and was clean. The loft was a huge hit with the kids. There was a great assortment of beach items too! Thanks so much for sharing your home with us!!
Great owners. Very responsive and easy to work with. Place was clean and very nice. The HOA personnel are complete Jerks and inappropriate (so definitely do not encounter them) but the the owners and overall stay was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.
We Enjoyed a Wonderful Stay at Port-of-Call June 2023
From booking through check-out everything was easy-breezy communicating with property owners. Plenty of details were given to compliment every part of our stay. We'd expected other guests, but for our early June '23 visit, it ended-up just being my husband, MIL, myself, and our dogs.
The property was neat/clean and well-stocked. We are seasoned visitors to vacation homes on the Cape and tend to bring a lot of supplies from home, just in case and to have staples we want at hand. I cannot comment on the beach gear, but the kitchen was well-stocked yet there was still plenty of available cabinet space to put away what we'd brought with us--a touch very much appreciated by our group!
We didn't use the 3rd floor "loft," but could see it being a great space for kids or overnight visitors. Both primary bedrooms have en suite baths, King sized beds, and private decks--perfect for our group. The property would be a great fit for 2 couples with 2 younger children each. The only drawback on beds/baths I'd note is that the en suites are very small, and there's no dedicated bath for the loft, so that's potentially quite a few people sharing such small spaces. On the other hand, kids can always shower outside!
One of the absolute best aspects of this property is location! I think its name was formerly "Close Enough" and we couldn't agree more. It's not gulf front, but you're a very short walk to the sand and Barrier Dunes' beachfront pool--a great spot to retire for sunset.
We had a wonderful time. Just a few steps from the beach. The ramp to the beach made it very easy to carry the wagon. Everything was great. The only issue we had was the weather made the seas very rough. But that happens. Otherwise, a great great time.
The host was very responsive and the rental process seamless. Instructions regarding the property were detailed and clear. The property was nicely furnished with everything to move in, bring food, and enjoy. We really enjoyed being just steps from the beach! We would stay here again.
We stayed at this property for a quick 2 night beach trip on our way home from Disney World. Place was quiet and clean. Beds were comfortable and we appreciated the supply of towels and clean linens. Plenty of space for our party of 7 and the kids loved the loft area. The property is just a very short walk to the beach and the owners have beach toys and chairs that are available and were very nice to have. Enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. We would definitely stay again.
We were quite pleased with this property! The communication with the host was so easy and pleasant. The house was clean and well stocked. Everything we needed was there. Plenty of room for our family to visit and sit around the tables together. We had a great time scalloping, loaded up with enough for dinner one night! Thanks so much Steve and Audrey!
Enjoyed the townhome - it was close to community pool and beach, plenty of space for family to spread out and process was great. A list of things to do and restaurants in area was a great reference provided.
We had a great stay! The condo was well equipped, even more gear than was in the listing description (beach gear, baby pack n play, etc)…the owner was communicative and helpful with a few check in questions we had. The location is great and Cape San Blas is wonderful!
Loved everything about our trip! The townhome was clean, spacious and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The walk to the beach was ideal. My kids went fishing and had such fun although they didn’t catch anything. All the neighbors (and their dogs) were super friendly. We brought our 13yo dog with us and she loved the beach! It was her first trip and it was just perfect.
Port of Call is a lovely home to enjoy time at the beach. It was very clean and well-stocked! The communication with the Owners was great. It is obvious that the owners have put a lot of love into the home and even had charming welcome gifts. I wouldn't hesitate to book again. One thing to be aware of, the internet (and cell service) is bad in that area (there is only one vendor that is able to service the internet) and even though the owners did their best to improve it - even having a tech come when we were there, it is just not good wifi. It was fine with us since we were out of the house most of the time; but just a heads up for anyone who might be trying to work from the beach. Otherwise, don't hesitate to book a wonderful stay at the Port of Call!
Perfect location for the family including the 4 paws members.
We had a great experience here. Yes the Cell phone/Wifi /Tv service is spotty so be prepared to really enjoy some quiet time. (Which we were made aware prior) Everything you will need for the beach is already at the condo. With the condo being so close to the shore line we loved the fact of being able to leave our belongings on the beach to take a lunch/snack break. Condo was cleaned, but found trash around beds and under pillows on the couch.
