Great location, average apartment
Location to Paddington station (only a few mins walk) and responsiveness of hosts were excellent. Wifi worked well and the bay window front of apartment was lovely to sit at in the evenings.
However, dishwasher door didn’t close and nearly impossible to load / use. No chopping / cutting board in kitchen (and refused to provide this basic equipment when asked despite advertised as fully equipped kitchen). No plug for kitchen sink, had to wash up in a bowl. The apartment was dusty including the floors. Parts of the walls in the main bedroom and the living room have water damage and are damp. For the duration of our stay, there was a spare(?) washing machine sitting outside the front door on the very small landing and the mat outside is curved up so that it is a trip hazard. This apartment is on the 2nd floor - and the second set of stairs is very steep.
Location can outweigh these aspects, although a focus on these points would improve the experience.
