A month in Heaven?
This was advertised as “Not Your Ordinary Green Valley Rental.” That was something of a misnomer, as it would have been better described as “An Extraordinary Retreat in Green Valley.” Because it truly was extraordinary. The neighborhood/location was great, but it was the home itself that made our month-long stay delightful – along with the thoughtfulness and provision of the hosts. The house is elegant and tastefully decorated, and every need has been provided for - down to the smallest detail (e.g. LOTS of coat hangers in the closets.) We’ve stayed at numerous VRBO’s and this was head and shoulders above anything we had previously experienced. A gorgeous, well-equipped kitchen with every appliance, utensil, and cookware that might be needed, multiple dining areas, and a spacious living room, plus a generous parking area in the garage. But the highlight is the backyard. Porch, Patio, Pool, and Pit (as in fire), with an unobstructed view of the Santa Rita Mountains and Mount Wrightson. Spectacular. Oh - and it didn't hurt that it didn't rain for the entire month we were there, with daily high temps in the 70's and 80's.
