About this property

Cozy Wine Country Cabin #6 for 2 at Janes Farmstead, Fredericksburg, TX

This cozy cabin is freshly built with comfort & space for 2 guests. Eat, drink, relax, and even talk to the livestock if you so desire. The all-new cabins are built for your comfort & retreat from hectic schedules & city life. There are other cabins on the property where guests enjoy the quiet calm of nature, grill steaks on the fire pit (if there's no burn ban), walk around the forested property or just enjoy the calming views from your front porch with a glass of wine.

The cabins are a perfect place for a quiet refuge to relax in heart of the Texas Hill Country becoming known as "Texas Wine Country" or "Napa Valley East". All cabins have a comfy queen size bed with fresh mattresses and bedding, a lining area with comfortable furniture to relax on, a kitchenette with appliances, and a bathroom with shower. You'll also have a front porch with comfy furniture for eating, drinking wine , watching the wildlife or conversing with the goats. You'll be close to town without having to hear weekend downtown traffic.
Take a walking stick and enjoy the paths on the property. Be prepared to see deer, fox, rabbit and other smaller wildlife. Safest for you & our wildlife is to observe but keep safe distance. If you want animal interaction, the goats will be your constant companion particularly if you carry bread in your pocket. Otherwise, they're about the property always eating abundantly.

You have access to your cabin and all it's amenities with a coded keypad. You'll also have access to a shared laundry room and a shared fire pit in the backyard.
Other things to note:
Bring air pods, sunscreen, and bug spray if you plan on being outdoors. High speed wifi is provided so that you can stream video if you choose to relax with a good movie.

Great time!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jane's Farmstead. The cabins were cozy and clean. Ronda was extremely helpful and responsive to our needs. The goats were so much fun and added a unique experience to our stay. Highly recommend!

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, I got to Texas as fast as I could. My Texan dad, from the Fredericksburg area, married my Tennessee mom so holidays were near my current farm. I enjoy homesteading, animals, gardening, beekeeping and e-commerce. It's been a pleasure to host guests on my farm for over 10 years and meet wonderful people from all walks of life.

Why they chose this property

My roots are in the German Texans who settled around this area.

What makes this property unique

The property is peaceful and beautiful, reminiscent of times when people actually stopped to watch the sunset or stargaze after sundown. Take off your shoes, listen to the birds or the wind in the trees. Sit on the porch with a glass of wine or fave snack. Just breath. It's all good.
