Check in communication was easy information was emailed days in advance for trip. Rooms was very nice and big house had alot of space to accommodate guest staying there. My overall experience was good and really enjoyed the property
Overall it was a nice stay, but it wasn't very convenient for what we were wanting. The neighborhood was quiet, as was said, but it was further out away from where we were expecting to be. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were just fine. I am sure that it would be a great location and great stay for many vacationers.
The house was newly renovated and was a reasonable distance away from the stockyards. But there was a few key things missing ( ie Dishrags, Dish towels, dishwasher tablets). I texted the property manager and he did make an effort to get an order sent over but it was still missing the dishwasher detergent. As us northerners are seeking sunshine in Texas a nice patio set with umbrella and a gas grill would have been appreciated in the backyard.
We took a trip to Fort Worth with my daughter and two grandsons and the main attraction was visiting the Stockyards. We didn't want to spend hours in traffic so I looked at homes close to the Stockyards and based on a couple of reviews and photos, I chose this home. This home is handled by a property management group.
It was very clean, and it was adequately furnished but there were no frills such as a welcome snack pack and area guide, etc. that some homeowners provide. Beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels. I could have used an extra blanket. All of that was fine since we spent most of the day away from the home. Although the home was newly renovated there were some minor maintenance issues which didn't interfere with our stay.
We are from a small rural town and the neighborhood surrounding this home was a little off-putting to my daughter. It's and older section of town. The homes were close together and a little worn out. I was fine with the area. We had a garage we could pull our car into which we did but wouldn't have been necessary. The neighborhood was very quiet at all hours of the day. There were no people loitering or people wandering the street.
I would stay again if I were visiting that part of the Fort Worth area. The location was convenient to everything we came to see. The management company was responsive and we enjoyed our stay. The fireplace was pretty neat.
Online photos suggest that this house is in a newer clean neighborhood, it was actually hilariously built on an empty lot on an old run down neighborhood with cheap finishes on the inside as the builder knew the type of neighborhood he was putting it into. This house is starkly different than every other house in the neighborhood. Just giving you fair warning if you rent this place. Congrats, they tricked me. You can see sentiment of this in another review. And I’m convinced the first few reviews are fake.
To top it off while we were renting, there was a several day very large garage sale at the house next door with lots of people coming and going. There is an abandoned (condemned appearing) building overlooking the backyard to this place. We looked up the address on crimegrade.org and found it to be in the most dangerous part of the city demarcated in red on their map due to high crime. And this is frankly not surprising given that this house is near a major highway which is where traffic is visible from the front yard. My mom didn’t feel safe there.
Additional the kitchen appliances do not work as advertised. There is a large crack in the stove which makes it a shock hazard to use and the microwave was not working correctly when we were there. We reached out to the management company regarding this and got a run around with a partial refund for false advertising of the place, which was never received. They really just don’t care.
Congrats. You tricked and scammed me.
