About this property

New Creek View Cabin - The Navajo Rug

Secluded and well off the road, nestled along the bluff overlooking the clear water, year-long spring fed "Hidden Creek", our modern architecture designed cabin has two king beds w/ game loft. The Navajo Rug has mirrored king bed primary full bath ensuites, a 3rd full bath, a gaming loft w/ two queen sized Murphy beds and a sleeper sofa allowing 10 guests to sleep comfortably. Large clerestory windows bathe the entire cabin in natural light making the space bright and airy. The fun southwest saddle blanket motif throughout the cabin adds color and excitement to the decor, reminiscent of a New Mexico or Colorado Lodge.

The Navajo Rug is a 1991 song written by an Austin Texas songwriter, Jerry Jeff Walker. Jerry Jeff is most known for his early 70s song, 'Mr. Bojangles'. The song and the writer inspired the creation and decor of our Navajo Rug cabin here in Broken Bow, USA. As Jerry Jeff laments in his song about his long lost "Katie Love", he asks us to go back in time where the walls were adorned with old bear teeth and things that "don't last any more like an old Navajo Rug"! Don't it make you want to smile?

That is why The Navajo Rug is the perfect single family or two-family getaway. Invite your best friend's family to get away with you! Go back in time and enjoy playing horse shoes while the kids play in the rustic log playground. Grill dinner outside each evening. Then with your favorite beverage in hand, relax by the firepit down by the creek! Don't forget relaxation: The six-person hot tub and the full size rope swing will take your troubles away!

Be advised. This is an outdoor adventurer's paradise. Hike the creek path down to where Hidden Creek connects to the larger Lukfata Creek and see gorgeous slow dropping waterfalls, bluffs, natural wild life and clear cool running water. The west bank of the Lukfata Creek is Weyerhaeuser timber land that is ripe to explore, bike, hike or ATV. If rain or snow keeps you inside, we have plenty of board games, card games and foosball up in the game loft. Bring your gaming system and plug into the 55” Smart TV up there. (The cabin has 5 Smart TVs) There is a 300 piece poker card set under the coffee maker. The dining table is perfect for playing poker or any card game you like.

With its all-encompassing bucolic setting, this natural location blends beauty, adventure and relaxation seamlessly. Ideal for families, friends, or romantic getaways, our cabin merges the rugged landscape with modern comforts. Book now and ignite your getaway adventure! Come experience this secluded Broken Bow tranquil retreat, where nature and modern lines collide!

Lovely family stay
We had a wonderful time! We liked the solitude of being a little outside town. Our kids enjoyed playing in the creek and the play area. The house was gorgeous and had everything we needed. The host went above and beyond and brought us a pack n play since we forgot ours and had great recommendations for nearby hiking and sites.
