St. Elmo Cabin is a cozy retreat at Deer Valley Hot Springs. With accommodations for up to six guests, this cabin provides an inviting living room where you can gather and relax in front of the fireplace.
The cabin features two bedrooms: one with a queen bed and one with a double bed, conjoined with twin bunk beds in the hallway. There are also two full bathrooms. Experience the warmth and charm of St. Elmo Cabin, where comfort and togetherness await your family.

-Hot Spring Pool & Hot Tubs: Relax in a hot spring-fed swimming pool and two hot tubs, open year-round
-Sports Courts & Cornhole: Stay active with our multi-use sports courts featuring basketball hoops, tennis, pickleball, and volleyball nets. For a laid-back activity, enjoy a friendly game of cornhole with family or friends.
-Chalk Cliffs: Discover the historic Chalk Cliffs, renowned for their striking, chalky texture and stunning views. These unique formations are created by mineral-rich waters from the surrounding hot springs. Enjoy easy access to the trail right on the property for access to the Chalk Cliffs.
Location:
Conveniently located in Nathrop, CO, between Buena Vista (20 minutes away) and Salida (30 minutes away), our cabin is the perfect base for exploring the natural beauty of the area. Enjoy nearby outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, and skiing. Explore the nearby trails of Mount Princeton, one of Colorado’s iconic 14ers, just minutes from your doorstep.

Winter Access:
During the winter months, a 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle is required to access the cabins and lodge in the event of snow.

Please note that stairs are required to access the cabin.
Pools:
Our pool and hot tubs are open year-round. The hot tubs may operate on a rotating schedule, with one hot tub occasionally closed for maintenance. The pool and hot tubs are shared with other guests on the property. Like other hot springs in the area, we treat our geothermal-fed pool and hot tubs to maintain cleanliness and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all guests.
Check-In:
Upon arrival, please follow the signs directing you to the office. Our office hours vary depending on the season and occupancy, so if the office is unstaffed when you arrive, don’t worry! A check-in packet with all the information you’ll need will be waiting for you on a magnetic board outside the office.
Pets:
Dogs must be well-behaved, on a leash outside, and not allowed on furniture or bedding. Guests are responsible for reporting any damages caused by pets. An additional fee will apply for pet hair on furniture. Pets must be housebroken, not bathed in the unit, and all waste must be cleaned up promptly. Linens are not to be used for cleaning pets. Aggressive dogs are not permitted.
