If you are looking for a fun and relaxing vacation on Canyon Lake this is the place for you! After a day out on the water, come back to the house, relax, and kick back on the deck as you gaze out over the beautiful views of the lake.

The house is in a perfect location to accommodate everyone's interests. We are on the South Side of the lake. We are 5 minutes from Comal park ( there is a boat launch, playground, and roped off swimming area), the neighborhood swimming pool and The Canyon Lake Golf Course. We are 15 minutes from the Whitewater Amphitheater. We are 20 minutes from the historic town of Gruene where you can tube down the Guadalupe River, shop for antiques, drink wine, dance at Gruene Hall, or just enjoy dinner at our favorite restaurant The Gristmill. In addition, we are 25 minutes from New Braunfels, where you can find the biggest water park in Texas, Schlitterbahn. Also, within 30 minutes you can enjoy San Antonio's Riverwalk, and San Marcos' outlet malls.

Wonderful Host, Cute Property

We were at the lake for one of my daughter’s wedding and selected this place for location and accommodations. It was the perfect size and price. It is very well laid out, and in fact reminds me very much of my family’s lake house in NM that we sold a few years ago after my father passed away. The kitchen area is identical and brought back many childhood memories. The bedrooms and bathrooms are decorated with cute themes, we just loved it. The deck is really nice and was a fun place to hang out. Also reminded me of my family’s place, down to the swing. : ) the fenced in yard was so great for travel with doggos. I will stay there again if we are ever in the area. Host was so easy to work with. I highly recommend. Thanks!

Nice little house overlooking the lake

The house is spacious but needs to be updated but it suited our needs. The deck is amazing. It has nice views and we had a great time feeding all the deer that came around.

Texas Road Trip

We made a last minute emergency booking because another VRBO cancelled on us at the last minute. Kristy confirmed us immediately. The location was good and far from the "eclipse crowd". We had an 75 minute ride to the Pacific War Museum. The 2 bedroom house was comfortable. So was the pullout sofa. However the pullout was a mess and I had to vacuum it. The spare sheets were dusty so I washed them prior to using. Ate in Maven's Grill

Beautiful place

We stayed at this property over Thanksgiving and it was so nice and roomy. The kitchen was well stocked with all the needed utensils and the pantry was well stocked with incidentals. We all enjoyed the abundance of wildlife that visited the property daily. This property is a must if your visiting the Canyon Lake area.

My family loves the house. We have stayed here many times. Krisy is a great host and very responsive. The balcony is our favorite place as we feed and watch the deer.

We rented this place for our girls trip and loved it! Very spacious. The back deck is huge with a view of the lake and hills. Everything was provided, so we didn’t have to worry about bringing a bunch of stuff. Tucked away but conveniently located to entertainment and stores. We will be back!

Superb views and outdoor space.

I was amazed at the huge cover back deck and the endless Vistas of not only the lake but the entire canyon that was in plain view. It had many more features and amenities that was not mentioned.The home is well equipped and not lacking in anyway. We liked the fact it felt lived in and not just stagged for pictures. Kristi was a great host and very responsive. We will definitely return.

Nice place, good features

Loved the covered back porch and the view. (Will be nicer when the lake level is back to normal.) Glad the fenced area was designed well enough to keep my energetic pups contained - even when they really wanted to go say hello to the deer. Lots of wildlife in the area - we saw a fox on our evening walk. Only issue was a neighboring house partying outside loudly late into the night, but I always pack earplugs anyway.

Great weekend getaway

We had a wonderful weekend here. It was peaceful and the view was lovely. The house was clean and we appreciated that we were able to bring our pets. Be aware there is multilevel stairs that decend to the backyard. It wasn’t a problem for us, however. The master bed was very squeaky so we didn’t sleep well. The mattress was good but the box spring needs replaced. Otherwise, we very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying there.

Quiet, Peaceful Getaway

I really enjoyed my stay. It's a cute house, with everything you need. I needed some R&R and it was very, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. My dogs really enjoyed the dog run as well.

Why they chose this property

I've been going to Canyon Lake as a kid where my dad would take me skiing and tubing. I had always wanted a lake house. I chose Canyon Lake because of the location. Although it was out of the city, it was so conveniently located to everything.

What makes this property unique

Although I've grown out of the tubing and skiing, I still enjoy being out on the boat with friends and family.

I also love the serenity that comes with being on the lake. In the mornings I drink my coffee on the deck and read a book, and the evening we BBQ, and watch the sunset.

I can't forget to mention that we love to go to Gruene!!!
